Sals is just another pizza and cheese steak joint... However, this place is the greatest because at the same time, it's also a small and comfortable BYOB offering affordable Italian dinners that come with bread and a small salad. (Old school) From time to time, they also offer homemade special dinners from their old family recipes! If that is not enough, there's also Michelle's homemade deserts to follow! These are made from scratch and they are fabulous standing alone! She makes a peach pie (in season) that is so perfect, it has a following! (No kidding) Covid has had an impact on all of us and the small restaurants among us are no exception. This one is a hidden gem and absolutely worth visiting!

Not one to leave reviews, you can tell by my lack of reviews but felt compelled this time. Ever since I moved out here been searching for a great pizza spot so tried a few. Pizza was half decent. Not bad not great. Stromboli is what I would steer clear of at Sals. I ordered the Italian Stromboli. Cutting into it cheese came bleeding out. Couldn’t taste any of the Italian meats. As it cooled down I opened up the Stromboli and there was maybe 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of salami wrapped one on top throughout. Kinda tasteless except for the marinara. Usually give a spot multiple go’s. Won’t be with this one.

One of our go-to places for pizza Friday. They tend to get busy on Fridays so plan and order accordingly! As vegetarians we sometimes make modifications to menu items. Never an issue! Sometimes they forget to make the modification but will quickly correct it. Even if an item is delivered they'll redeliver it which is really kind. Many places won't do that! One Valentine's Day years ago they made a special, heart shaped pizza for my sweetie. It was so cool! They're really a great place and great people. And yes, pineapple belongs on pizza.

I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is okay but this review is about a time when I was doing a delivery. I arrived to pick up two different orders to be delivered and I found it utterly appalling that multiple staff members were trying to make me cancel the one order. I had told them about the second order and their immediate response was “you should just cancel that one” I found that so disrespectful to me and to the person I was delivering to. Given this I would have given this review a one star review. The only reason I didn’t was because the one cook seemed to care and attempted to keep me in the loop on when my orders would be ready. The two female staff who kept pushing for me to cancel the order couldn’t be bothered to give me any kind of time estimate and just kept pushing for the cancellation of a customers order. Before this incident I would have gladly gotten food from this establishment again but after the disrespect towards me and the customer I was picking up the order for I’m not sure I will even eat here again and I won’t be recommending them to others at this time...

Skimming the Customers. Today marks the third time that this pizza place played games with their prices. First time happened at the end of the pandemic (around February 2022). They had their expired prices on their paper menu (from 2 years ago) in the store and their Covid Prices (10% add-on). No problem. Support your local businesses.

Approximately two visits during the rest of 2022 and into 2023 had the same results. Good food. Friendly service. Inflated prices hoping you are not checking your receipt or adding up the prices, particularly on take-out food.

Today, three sets of prices: Meat Lover's Stromboli - Printed Menu Price $17.95; Website Price on April 29, 2023 is $18.95; Owner's/Cash Register Price $19.95. I questioned the differences and they acted like they did not know about these pricing issues. They stated that they had no time to update their website or their paper menus.

On top of everything else, the food was 30 minutes late for Take-out and they burned the stromboli.

It is either actual skimming and/or a mismanaged restaurant. Check...

We came here on a (high) recommendation of a neighbor and have to say we were slightly disappointed by the Margherita pizza we ordered. It was good, but there were no unicorns, or rays of sunshine that I heard might hit me when I bite into it. In other words, I wouldn't use the word delicious. There was something weak about the flavors mixed on top of a relatively dry and hard dough. I've had local pizza (especially Margherita) that blew my mind and taste buds into a different world before, and this wasn't it.

Our order was for a takeout, but we'll be back and sit down for a proper meal next time. The restaurant had a very nice vibe to it inside.

One ordinary pizza doesn't mean it was bad, so we'll give it...
