Happy Lemon is a brand new addition to the Vacaville area and it’s a welcome one. This is the kind of boba spot you usually only see in places like San Francisco or Concord, so having it nearby is a big win for the local scene.

From the moment you walk in, the space feels clean, bright, and refreshing. The staff greets you as you enter, and the overall atmosphere is inviting and modern. The menu is large and easy to follow, with clear sections that help you find what you are craving. You can also customize your drink by adjusting the sugar level, amount of ice, and toppings, which is great if you want something a little more tailored.

We were excited to try this location so close to home and we’ll definitely be back more than once a month. One thing to note, the boba pearls were warm when added to the iced drink, which gave the first few sips a different flavor and texture than we expected. It was not bad, just a little unexpected, but the texture stayed consistent and the drink overall was still enjoyable.

The service stood out. The staff was respectful, helpful, and stayed active the entire time. Everyone was moving, making drinks, and keeping the line flowing. No one was just standing around, which added to the professional feel of the place.

This place has the best lemonade ever! I had not heard of Happy Lemon until recently when I walked by this place, so I went inside and I was pleasantly surprised! The lemonade slushy is pure deliciousness! It's thirst quenching and refreshing not to mention it makes the palate very very happy! The staff is always kind and upbeat! They always smile, say Hello, ask how I'm doing and suggest things to try - if I want them to! After coming here a few times, they learned my name and my 'Go To' drink of choice! They suggested I try a Bubble Waffle with Puff Cream, and OMGOODNESS it was so Delicious, that I went back daily for 3 weeks to have one! It's a generous size waffle cooked to perfection with 'just the right crisp' edges! You can request they make the waffle extra crispy if you prefer it that way - as I do! Then tear pieces off and dip them into the Puff Cream, and WOW is it SUPER TASTY! And quite filling too! They have many other great drinks to try and they are known for their invention of Salt Cheese Tea! (Salt Cheese is interesting! You can ask to try it and they will be happy to let you!) They have several different things you can add to their drinks and/or teas! They have both hot and cold drinks. My favorite is the Lemonade Slushy, my second favorite is the Mango Lemonade Slushy! I’ve been a loyal Happy Lemon customer for years, visiting locations all over—from Sacramento and San Francisco to San Jose and Los Angeles. This is, hands down, the worst location I’ve been to.

Despite several chances, this store continues to disappoint. I even came back recently after seeing a promising promotion (attached)—hoping they’d finally turn things around. Unfortunately, the experience just reinforced why I hesitate to return.

There’s zero effort to support the local community—no military or first responder discounts, and no sense of hospitality or brand pride. The store feels indifferent at best, uninviting at worst. Restrooms? Not available. Air conditioning? Turned off, even on hot days. It’s clear they’re cutting corners wherever they can—at the customer’s expense.

This is a textbook example of poor business practices and a complete failure to live up to the Happy Lemon name. Other locations get it right. This one doesn’t...
