I go here once a week and second time I found exact same rubber band in my pizza. First time they made it right and gave me a free pizza. The second time they said not sure why you are the only one to get 2 rubber bands in your pizza. He worded it making it seem like I planted these in my pizza to get a free pizza. Trust me I'm not that cheap, I wanted them to know this has happened twice and why does it keep happening. I said is it from the bags of dough or pepperoni bags. He said rudely no we don't have hair bands here. I said it looks like a rubber band used for bags or food. He told me his manager would call me and I asked if he would like to see photos which I sent to a number he gave me both times. This is beyond disgusting and needs to be addressed by higher management and possibly mountain mikes corporal management. It may be something coming pre shipped to them. Either way it needs to be addressed and they need to get to the bottom of it. I am a local and have been going here supporting their business for a few years now, just started going every Tuesday for a year now. Both rubber bands were found within a year of eachouther. If you go there once a week pay close attention, you will most likely get one to. Not only will I not be going to this location anymore I don't think I will be eating any pizza's from mountain mikes anymore. Most people wouldn't even know they are eating rubber bands, makes me think how many I've eaten and not noticed. Ever since the first time I've paid closer attention to the pizza and every bite waiting for something in my food. This time sealed the deal and made me literally sick to my stomach threw the pizza away and didn't finish it. Read moreWe came in on a sunday evening about 7. One famly was just leaving.We were the only ones there when I ordered a small pizza and soda to dine in, paid for it and left a tip. We sat down and waited 40 minutes( big mistake) someone else came in and ordered, ate their pizza and left. The thing is there were 4 guys "working" by that I mean looking on their phones joking around goofing off and ignoring customers, basically hiding in the kitchen.....Lame I went and asked about our pizza and had to show him my receipt. The pizza was sitting in a to-go box on top of the oven. The young man handed it to me and when I checked it it was cold. I brought it back and he said he would heat it up. But he changed his mind when he realized it had fresh tomatoes on it so he said they would remake it and it would be ready in 5 minutes. Yeah....right......I was a cook in a pizza place many moons ago. Ain't gonna happen. I wondered "what am I going to get?" 20 minutes later out comes our 5 minute "upgraded" to medium pizza which basically meant we had 20% more under- cooked dough and raw mushrooms with a measly amount of peperoni on it. Oh the fresh diced tomatoes were so fresh they had lots of green tomato dices in it. TOO fresh I'd say. It was a sad pizza. I say WAS because we were so hungry by then we devoured it. All of it. Now I feel sick as I write this. Stupid me. Lesson learned. Never going back. Sorry I strayed from you Pietros, it will NEVER happen again. EVVVVEEERRRR! Read moreWe ordered an XL pizza for my son’s birthday party today. When we went to pick it up, someone else with my husband’s same name had picked it up. So we had to wait for it to be remade. When we got it home we realized as we started eating that it had not been cooked thoroughly (most of the bread was soft, chewy dough). I called to ask for the situation to be rectified and I was told that not only would he refund us our money ($46) but they would also make us another pizza. We were told wait time would be 20 minutes. My mom goes down to get the refund and pizza and was told that they couldn’t honor it without bringing in the bad pizza (which ok, but I was not told this was necessary). Then he hands her a 20% off coupon. Needless to say I was mad. So my husband goes down there to get it handled. He just got the refund and left, but told me I should call the manager back and ask for our account to notate the replacement pizza for next time. They gave me the run around and told me that they were only able to give a refund OR replacement. That’s NOT what I was told. So apparently the first person I spoke to was not the manager and this last person claimed he was. What a joke. We’ve given them tons of money over the months and have patronized their business and this is how they treat their customers.
