Been here three times so far and safe to say I will be coming back for a fourth. Two of the three times I ordered the Shrimp Po ‘Boy with a side. The shrimp Po ‘Boy was served on a buttery roll, with a load of some tender shrimp sauced in their signature comeback sauce along with a coleslaw. The sides I had were tater tots and mac and cheese which were both decently sized portions. I have also tried the loaded mac and cheese with the nashville chicken which was my favorite so far. Great portion of mac and cheese to chicken ratio , and i definetely recommend asking for some extra comeback sauce to drizzle on the top. The people here are incredibly nice and as soon as you walk into the door you are greeted and welcomed with hospitality. Overall, Nashville kitchen is a great new restaurant in the Vacaville area and you have to...
Read moreOn my way to Sacramento, I ran into this place, a hidden gem. It was a hot day and I wanted some cold Beer. I reached towards their closing time, post lunch (around 2). The person at the counter was very welcoming. Their kitchen was about to close. As a vegetarian, I didn't find any options on their menu. What happened next blew me away. Apparently, they do have some vegetarian options on their secret (unadvertised) menu. They prepared Vegan Nashville Hot Cauliflower for me. It's prepped (breaded) the same way chicken and shrimp are done here. It was the perfect veg meal with local beer. I was very happy that I came here.
Few things I would suggest they have: add vegetarian options on their main menu. wish they were not really closed at 2 pm on a weekend. how about a happy hour on...
Read moreI'm not the type who will take the time to leave a review about a local food joint. I know the hustle of small businesses, and with it being food, it's rough out there. I went to this place once before, and they were busy, so I cut some slack with the food quality. I decided to give them another try—bad idea. The food was ice-cold despite asking for crispy fries. The shrimp's breading was so bad. It was falling off, and it tasted like they used salt as the breading. It was parmesan and garlic, but it just tasted like salt. The chicken tenders were equally as bad. The breading wasn't as salty, but it wasn't breading either. As you picked up the chicken, it fell right off the meat and made an odd PLOP as it fell. I'm salty (no pun intended) that I spent $22 for a meal that went...
