Iāve been to Artist nails 3 different times now, my first experience was wonderful, great service and quality job on my nails.
My second two experiences were a disappointment. While I say the quality of my nails were great all 3 times the customer service from Lisa the owner was rude and she didnāt value my time.
I came in my second visit for a build a nail set and eyelash extensions. We got through my nails just fine, however when we started my eyelashes another client comes in who is a regular and had an appointment and Lisa abruptly stops working on my eyeās, takes off the āpadsā they put under your eyes when doing lashes and says āsorry we have to stop your lashes so I can work on the lady who came in with the appointment.ā
Now I understand if someone has an appointment they come first, The issue I have with Lisa and stopping me in the middle of doing my eyelash extensions was the lady who had the appointment had just called 15 minutes ago and said she wasnāt gonna be able to make it in so she had already forfeited her appointment. Lisa did not take that accountability when the lady showed up and asked me to leave and come back later.
Fast-forward to a month later I decided to give the shop another try since they do a great job on my nails.
Unfortunately it was another disappointing experience. This time I called in advance to set up an appointment for 12:40 PM I arrive to the shop and let Lisa know that Iām in a rush because I have a event I need to Attend.
They start my pedicure and Lisa comes over to start my nails, Iām hopeful by this time thinking Great theyāre gonna get me in and out and make up for last time with the horrible service.
Unfortunately thatās not what happened Lisa stopped my nails when another lady walked in and proceeded to work on her nails. I Expressed to Lisa in that moment that I was in a rush and I had somewhere to be she let me know as soon as my pedicure was done she would start back on my nails and continued working on the other lady.
When my pedicure was done I had to wait Some more time for Lisa to stop working on the lady who walked in and finished my nails.
I was irritated by this time and expressed to Lisa that this was the second time I came into her shop and she stopped my service in the middle.By the time they were done I got up to pay and was ready to go since I was running late
Artist Nails And Spa do great nails however I donāt recommend them for the poor customer service and as Lisa doesnāt value...

I visited them on Tuesday, April 1 with my friend to get pedicures. I was done with my pedicure and my friend was finishing up. My friend was also going to have her nails done but I was paying for my friends, pedicure and my pedicure. I had to leave while she was still getting her nails done. I made the payment ($170 with tip) and showed the nail technician that the payment had been sent via Zelle and went through. Everybody said goodbye. I started to walk out and the owner yelled at me loudly NO STOP you can't leave. It hasn't gone through. I politely tried to show her the screen on my phone that says the money had been sent to her. She again very rudely said no no you can't leave I don't have notification. Less than 5 seconds later the notification came to her phone. No apology. Her behavior was unacceptable. Denying me being able to leave her shop as if I'm broke and trying to rip her off. My friend was STILL THERE did the owner really think I would do that to my friend. NEVER going back to this nail shop and I wouldn't recommend anyone else...

A bit about my experience and why I gave it the 1 star - Aggressive upselling - When I walked in Lisa asked me what I want, which was a regular mani / pedi but she pushed hard on upgrading to a gel mani. I ended up going for it. Colors didn't match the numbers - The colors in the nail polish bottles did not match the tool you use to select colors. We ended up having to switch a few times to get close to what I selected. The staff seemed pretty aware of this issue suggesting it was common. Most importantly, both the mani and the pedi did not last! Pedicure smeared by the next morning. Note that I regularly get pedicures and this has not happened to me in an over a decade. The gel manicure pealed by day 4. Today is day 6 and attached are photos! They also pulled the "our credit card machine is broken today" once the service was done to make sure I venmo'd or...
