Chubby's of Valdese — Restaurant in Valdese

I am so disappointed. The food was my main concern. I will over look the fact that two of the young ladies look like their make up bag exploded on their face and I'm pretty sure that's against ServSafe to have much more than eye liner and some light color.

Anyways, I have ALWAYS loved this place! Seriously. Even when the previous owner was in charge and it still had all the Coke decor. But now, I have to wonder what kind of establishment is being run here. My order is the same every time. Large Tuna/Plain/Toasted. Pretty simple, right? The past three times have destroyed all hope for the new management. Each time it's ended up with everything on it and for some reason, unknown to me, the food is sour. Not vinegar sour but like warhead-turn your face inside out-sour. I've mentioned it a time or two and this time I even repeated my order when I picked it up and when I get home, it was still wrong. Shame on me for not checking it there in front of them, right? I was so hoping that it'd be right and I wouldn't have to embarrass them by checking their work. I know how that feels and it isn't pleasant. The woman on the register seemed so competent.

I would still recommend this place to any of my friends and family but with the caution to make sure your order is right before leaving. As long as it's the way you ordered it, it really is the most delicious subs in town. Better...

So we just got some to go today... they forgot our pizza. So when we called the little girl on the phone said.... oh yeah I forgot to give that to you. Well you can come get it if you want it. WHAT THE $;$$@;#!!!! okay please understand I think I lost my mind for a moment and I said well I wouldn't have ordered it if I didn't want it!!! So I had to drive 20 minutes BACK to get the pizza. And I say I'm here to get the pizza that was left..... I asked if it was ice cold she said no it's been sitting on top of the oven. So let me let you think about that for a moment..... she handed me a pizza that had been sitting out for well over an hour..... think about that. I never got a sorry... let me make you a new one.... let me cover the cost of this pizza NOTHING. Just had the box pretty much thrown on the counter..... think about it... Where has customer service gone??? Apparently they dont want out business anymore and trust me.... my 40 will be used elsewhere from now on!!!

Shame on you for giving me a pizza that I was giving to my small kids that had been sitting...
