Dollar General — Local services in Valdese

The second staff could use some etiquite training. They didnt want to honor the 50% clearance, that wasn't unmarked, and two previous stores honored the exact same items. I even found two items that would not ring up, and the second shift staff refused to sale them since it wasnt in the system. I guess I should have just left the store wuth them but the sarcastic cashier placed yhem behind the counter. I suppose she took them for herself, or just threw in the dumpster. The store was hard to get around in, especially with a buggy. I have yet to shop here without having to wait to long in checking out process. I must add that this review is geared towards the hours of 4pm and...

The clerk had a patron that messed up the bathroom and said she closed it due to that. But it has been closed for hours she said. Very bad attitude. Said she couldn't do it all by herself. And followed me out the store fussing about how bad she had it. Pittiful person and bad.for store. I'll use any.other store than that one if, she is working. I don't think that's very professional of that...

Although this place is usually messy and sometimes utter chaos, I do like the fact that I could usually find what I need at a reasonable price. I use the app for coupons for really good deals, however read the fine print. Oh and clip the coupons before you go in because signal is weak...
