Such good home made ice cream! The strawberry and butterscotch are the best flavors! The waffle cones are made in house and are so good!! Above all, they provide pup cups! My dogs love it when we park in front of this place because they know they’re getting ice cream! The employees are very respectful and asked if my dogs can have ice cream, if so they have pup cups! It’s so cute! The owners were nice and problem solved how I was going to get 6 ice creams in my car. They have lids for some sizes of ice cream or can put the ice creams in a drink carrier. Sandhills Ice Cream & Treats is such a cute and clean little snack shack! Not only do they serve up a wide variety of ice cream flavors, but they also showcase local art for sale, which makes the place feel extra special.

One of my favorite things is that they make real malts using actual malt powder — and you can choose any flavor of ice cream to go in them. Their toppings are fun and creative, adding to the experience.

It’s definitely a family-friendly spot, perfect for a sweet treat after an outing. Just a quick note: they only accept cash or local checks, so plan ahead before you go.

Can't recommend this place enough! We stopped in today after a bike ride on the Cowboy Trail. The ice cream and waffle cones are all made right there in the store and are SO GOOD! I had a chocolate waffle cone with a scoop of mint chocolate chip and it was absolutely heavenly! The owner was there and was just as sweet as could be. We will be back...
