The Pepian de Rez is deeply comforting and flavorful. The meals come with fresh handmade tortillas --the thick Guatemalan type. The fried plantains, rice, beans, salsa, and ensalada Russa are prepared with as much care and skill as the meat.

I called in an order, first thing that greeted me was an extremely kind and pleasant girl on the phone who I unfortunately did not catch the name of. She was absolutely so sweet and had phenomenal customer service. I have to admit I have never had Guatemalan food before but today that changed for the better. The pupusas were amazing and the chicken stew had a broth that was divine. Talk about a true hidden gem! I came in from out of town. I decided to try something different so I tried Abos Cocina. I had the Pollo Asada plate & was blown away! The chicken had incredible flavor. . The beans were probably the best I've ever had. The rice was also flavorful & full of fresh veggies. My kid tried the tacos & gave them two thumbs up as well.
