Things seem to be changing to the point I wonder if BK is going to close. The food is, well, ok as fast food goes. But inside dining has changed. There is no ketchup dispenser, and no napkin dispenser. I went once when I said I'd eat inside and was given a bag with my order. The drive through seemed busy, so maybe they're just moving to a drive through only model. Just odd.
12/19 Came today and waited over 10 miwnutes for my order because they forgot what I ordered. The kitchen area was not clean and they had very few people working. Also, the soda dispensing machine was broken. I would not be surprised if Burger King closes, given the number of negative reviews here that I doubt the corporation even cares about to read. 8/13/24 I thought I'd give them another chance, but this is the last time I go. I was behind 5 other cars. I waited 15 minutes to try and place my order and when I got up to place my order, the person said "one minute" and another 8 minutes went by. The cars in front of me never moved. After over 20 minutes just to place my order I left. This is by far the slowest fast food place in Valpo. Just terrible. I watched the food prep employee pass my fries to the employee bagging and then proceed to pull his phone out of his pocket, replace it, and go back to food prep station. I get that many people are attached to their phones, but I want to talk about the plethora of germs on cell phones such as feces. I politelt asked what I assumed was the manager if they were required to wear gloves, and she respectfully started to let me know about what is and is not a violation. I then stated I was only asking because your employee went from prepping and passing food to touching his cell phone and the amount of germs on cell phones. She did instruct the employee to get off his phone, but the point was to clean his hands after touching the phone. You all know all the places our cell phones go, and I prefer not to have my food handled by someone who may not understand the importance of washing your hands before going back to prepping food.    Read moreI asked the cashier what came on the taco she said â donât get one theyâre disgusting !â I asked again she said she doesnât know whatâs on them, she said theyâre deep fried and disgusting! And if I want a taco go to Taco Bell. So I ordered a burger, value fries & a shake. She rings me up wrong, rather than change me for fries she rang up a drink @$1.99. I pointed out her mistake and asked for the 50 cent change back, she said no itâs the same price. I said your prices up there say $1.49!! She said itâs just pennies difference. I said can I have my 50 cents please? Manger was called over and she argued with me and said those prices are corporates prices and arenât correct. She was not sorry and I asked for a complete refund. If their prices are wrong itâs not the customers fault. I wonder how many people they rip off daily. I asked corporate, they said those prices are not wrong and they should be charging those prices. So check your receipts people!!!
