Loowit Brewing - Ole's Outpost — Restaurant in Vancouver

This place was Pretty cool until I picked up a four pack this afternoon. I was walking out and was stopped by what looked like a manager asking me if I was going to pay for that..... I just point over to the cashier that had already checked me out in full plus tip..... I expect more awareness from all employees but especially a manager... it was really embarrassing as people were looking at me as if I stole something. This never happened when it was MAVS taproom.... I'll probably give you guys another chance but sheeesh... Don't like being accused of theft when I'm buying an over priced premium 4pack.. Not...

I dont know what it is that bartender/servers don't feel the need to be pleasant anymore? Over several owners over the last few years the downfall of this location has been poor food choices, and more importantly servers with really crappy attitudes. I was excited to see Loowit taking ownership, even more excited to hear they got a real kitchen... its a shame they aren't really digging deep to offer a more diverse menu.

Hope an owner reads this and makes some changes... service with a pleasant attitude makes me want to come back... too many other better choices to make me want to...

We discovered this place during Dine the Couve and it's been a regular spot since. The service is always great, food comes out quickly and is always amazing. They recently changed the menu, I'm a huge fan of seasonal menus. I can't get enough of the boiled peanuts and tried the Cottage Pie Empanadas today and they had me doing a little happy dance in my seat, I've never had anything like them. Can't wait to eat through this new menu and see what comes next. Unfortunately I've developed a bit of an allergy to beer but they have a seltzer and ciders on tap, something...
