Thank you to the person who mentioned the Taqueria Mexican Market near the 500 and Fourth Plain Blvd. Wow! This is a gem of a place. Awesome, flavorful, huge machaca breakfast burrito (at a decent price point), tons of fresh bakery items (bakery on site), and any kind of Mexican ingredient you would ever need or want including meats, dairy, and produce. They even have piñatas and cakes! Lots of tamale flavors! $2.50 each or 6/$15 or $30 per dozen! I'm blown away by this place. Everyone was so friendly. Please give this local, family-owned business a shot to earn your business. They're doing things right!

Welcoming, friendly people and atmosphere for ALL Americans! This is how a business Thrives!! Even though I arrived at closing 19:00 on Saturdays, I was welcomed and accommodated for my last minute CARNITAS order!! YYUMMMM Virtually all refrigerated foods, tortillas, tortas, cooked and baked goods are Made IN HOUSE!! Delicious spicy or mild, sweet or savory _ Carnecaria, sausage salads _ It's All Good!! Vast selection of Hispanic and international packaged dry goods, spices, canned & jarred foods and spices to be found! More details to come! Here's what & how I prepared a luscious feast in pictures:

They have some of the best Mexican food in Vancouver. This little market is situated back in the corner and the restaurant is in the back of the actual market. I've had quite a few dishes off the menu here and they are all tasty and super fresh. I feel as if I am in the Southern half of the United States where some of the best Mexican food can be found.

This is hands down the best Mexican food I have eaten in 22 years of living in Clark County. The store has a wide variety of quality food, produce and meats. But the gem of this location is the small restaurant in the back of the store. The Latino chef often wears a Seahawks hat and he makes some of the best food I’ve ever had, from scratch, right in front of you with fresh ingredients. The meat is tender and marinated, seasoned to perfection. The price points for more food than you can eat are around $4-5 a person, which is excellent. You might need to wait a while if there is a line, but trust me, it is worth the wait. Finally, please do not forget to tip the chefs with CASH, as this goes a long way in helping them pay bills and support families. The price point is already so low that there is no excuse to not put a few dollars in their cup to support their excellent...

We moved and I needed to find a new mexican store, in the area. We came here for food noticed all the chairs were on the tables and no one eating so we skipped the food. We were getting meat from the butcher and he was nice. We started looking at items around the store and were going to purchase bread. We were looking and seeing if they were hard meaning old with the tongs. We noticed a lady just standing around watching us she came up to me asked if I spoke spanish, which I do. Then proceeded to tell me we cannot touch any bread with the tongs unless we take it cause no one will buy it. Umm okay… Ive NEVER in my life experienced this kind of service. So we left everything and left I would much rather drive to the other side of town for better service and fresh baked bread. This lady literally...

I just got back from this place. I've been going there for years now to get my chorizo. Theirs is the best in town, to the point where I won't get it anywhere else.

Today my wife and I tried their restaurant for the first time, for lunch. It was fabulous. I had a carnitas burrito and my wife had a chicken taco. Both where quite excellent. I suspect this will be our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I'll be there next week to check out their birria de chivo. I just know it's going to be muy fabuloso.

Don't hesitate to try this place. Yeah, they may not be as fluent in English as the average norteamericano may like. That's OK. If you really need perfect English when you get Mexican food, there's always Taco Bell. Besides, they almost certainly speak better English than...
