Manila Couve — Restaurant in Vancouver

Wish I could give 0 stars. Worst restaurant experience of my life… I ordered from there last night. They said it would be about 30-45 minutes. I came after 43 minutes. They said my food was not done yet and said another 25-30 minutes. I sat in my car reluctantly since I already paid(much higher prices than their online menu said.) I came back in 25 minutes later and they said they were finishing it up now… I went and sat for another 10 minutes in my car and came back inside. I inquired about my food and the lady went back to ask the chef if it was done and he very rudely said no. She came back and told me no and that she doesn’t know how long. I told her that the other lady said that they were just finishing it up 10 minutes ago so she went back again to ask and this time I could here the chef loudly telling her that’s not his problem and he’s not working on phone or online orders right now…. She came back and said it could be up to another hour so I asked for a refund since my kids were all waiting for dinner at home and at this point it had been like an hour and a half since I ordered the food with no idea how much longer it might be. There were only like 4/5 tables with people inside and only one table that didn’t have food already at it. It was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had and I’ve never written a bad review anymore, I just couldn’t believe how rude the chef was and what an awful experience. They could’ve just chosen not to take my order if they couldn’t prepare it. We ended up getting fast food and I wasn’t able to feed my kids dinner until like 8:30. Filipino food is one of our favorites, looks like we’ll continue driving to fork and spoon...

It's pretty nice to finally have a Filipino restaurant in the city of Vancouver. They have a pretty large menu and a lot of things to offer (including Mexican food, and they give free chips and dip even if you do takeout). I've tried their Gresham location as well but wasn't satisfied since most of the food I wanted to order was out of stock.

This particular location has a pretty nice interior and is located somewhere decent, though it does have limited parking. Homey but well-sized with places to sit. Service is nice and friendly as well. Their pancit has a good flavor although I've definitely had better. Prices are reasonable as well as serving sizes. Would definitely come back and have already recommended the place to...

Spent $40 for two portions of Pork Adobo, which was delicious. Did expect more than two cups of white rice and the little bit of pork that amounted to about $20 per person. Take out order, but wasn’t given napkins or forks.

I think they just opened as I stopped by when their online hours said they were open but the shop was closed. Didn’t take much time inside so couldn’t say much about the dining experience. There weren’t any patrons when I dropped by for pickup so maybe they’re just getting started.

Parking lot is small. Might be tough to park with the other retail shops nearby.

Food was delicious but wish it was more for the money. Didn’t receive veggies with the order.
