History: Apr. 2, 1912---A cemetery site (then called the "Tenney site") 3 1/2 miles east of Vancouver on the Mill Plain road was purchased by the city. There was much controversy both before and after, resulting in court proceedings, which were settled on July 12, 1912 by mandamus compelling Mayor C. S. Irwin to sign. There is only street parking available for this park and no bathrooms on site. Trash, picnic tables, green space and playground available at this park. Park was clean.
