Writing as a food courier for Doordash. This location is 24 hours. That's a good thing for most people up late at night, as most places aren't. That's the good thing. The bad? Because it's one of literally 5 places open past midnight they are well understaffed and overworked. When I arrived for my customer's pickup. I had 2 orders needing to get. 1 was done, but the other wasn't. There was approximately 4 customers inside waiting on their order while their tablet is popping out order after order for delivery. 1 employee was working. Needless to say I was late on my first delivery and barely on time to my 2nd. The employee didn't show any customer service skills, but who could blame her for all the work she had to do, and the pressures of several eyes staring at her to expedite their orders?! They ran out of Sprite soda so had to supplement another item in it's place. This isn't the only subway 24 hours, either. There's one on 164th near the taco bell and movie theater. That location also displays similar behavior of being understaffed. Please look at hiring or putting more people at night. It's dangerous to only have 1 employee for many reasons, safety, security, productivity, customer service, sanitation. Corners will be cut to expedite customers putting cleanliness at stake, covid preps at jeopardy, etc. There was also a hostile person seemingly intoxicated standing outside the door as well that sprouted threats and nonsensical sentences. Please understand this isn't ok and customer service needs to be ramped up along...
Read moreLady with green hair had to be the rudest Subway employee I have ever ran into.
My partner and I decided not to order anything. Before the door could even shut, rather than greet us, she said “what can we get started for you?” And it was done so with an extremely rude tone, with about as much “I can’t believe you just walked into my store” tone as you could muster.
I like that question... after I look at the menu. So, even if the tone wasn’t intended, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to know what to order before I’ve even glanced at the menu. Nor while I’m holding the door open for my partner who’s still outside.
When I said, “one sec, please,” her next response was an extremely terse “okay, cool.”
I’m not sure what I did to offend her, but we decided to leave. There’s a subway on practically every corner in my city - just wish the corner closest to my house...
Read more14$ down the drain! The moment I walked in, there was one person working and two others standing in the back. The girl that finally helped was playing on her phone. She didn’t toast my double steak enough and it was as cold as it comes out of the container. She was sloppy and careless adding toppings & I watched her toss an extra egg into the container like it wasn’t food. Grossed me out how she handles food. I don’t come to subway often and this is the reason why. If I owned this franchise ol’cell phone would be gone in point 2 sec! Seriously she should work in a closet doing nothing so she doesn’t mess up or waste time and money for others. she’s getting paid for horrible service. What a waste. FIREHOUSE SUBS...
