My boyfriend and I decided as a cool date night we would go to a rage room. We found two in the Washington and Oregon area, and we decided to try both to see which we would be regulars at. Outraged Rage Room is the only rage room we will be attending and recommending to others it was such an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I had a double rage and paint date and Outraged exceeded expectations especially when comparing it to the other rage room. There are tons of parking spots out front making it easy to pull up right to Outraged. Once inside a cooly decorated office we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who had us fill out some waivers and watch a short video which was very helpful and easy to understand. We were taken back the rage room and put on our safety gear. The main area is large and has tons of space for the different groups which made us feel like we still had space from others. There are shelfs full of items we were able to choose from to add to our rage session, we really enjoyed the variety and the larger items that were available. Each room was uniquely decorated and the whole place had very cool decor getting us in the rage mood plus the music was just what you would want to hear, and we could even request a song if we wanted to. We had a variety of weapons we could use and best of all was a throwing wall that worked! Plus, a punching bag to beat on. My Boyfriend and I felt so good after we were done, we both smiled from ear to ear like all the stress was no longer with us. When it was time for our paint session, we went to the paint room. Outraged did an amazing job setting the vibe/mood for both locations and the paint room set up was so cool and added to my feeling of creativity. There are Tons of places for super cute photos. They had tons of options to choose from paint and other add ons and even some we could take home with us. It was seriously the best date night. We tried the same thing at the rage room in Portland and will never go again it was very sketchy and a waste of money. Outraged was one of our favorite dates that we have been on and definitely one we will be having again! Thank you Outraged for making our date night one to remember we cannot wait...
Read moreVERY FUN experience. Staff was very nice and accommodating albeit spread a bit thin as the gal who checked us in had to literally run back and forth between buildings because the experiences are segregated and no one was at the other building for us to check in with, the paint didn't irritate anyone, it was definitely easy to clean off, it created a memorable experience all over the white shirts we bought and wore. But....my biggest complaint is the expense...like no joke...FRICKIN' WOW!!! I was obviously prepared for what I paid in entry fees x 10 people = $110, and ended up purchasing one of the paint packages (the MAD splatter), and a large canvas as a souvenir for my daughter as it was her b-day, so all in all STARTED at around $200. But, as soon as they said "go" though our 15 paint bottle (well 19 since we had the choice to swap a "paint blaster" out for 4 add'l bottles) were GONE in less than 5 mins into our 1 hr reservation. And our group wasn't even that crazy - honestly! So, this led me to have to go and buy another paint package that included 12 paint bottles and one blaster (which I also swapped out for the 4 extra bottles of paint instead) for $49.00 (the Starter splatter) and within 15 mins...GONE again! We ended up "splattering" around for another maybe 5-7 mins before my entire group was like we're done, there's nothing else we can do and the paint on the canvas and on us was starting to dry. As a follow up to the packages - the paint blasters, if you broke this down are generally $13/blaster. What they mean by blaster is a (I'm guessing) a dollar store-esque squirt gun stick that they load up for you at the desk with a paint color of your choice. One shot...one "blast" that equates to maybe two of their bottles of paint. That being said, in hindsight I'm REALLY glad I chose to swap out one the other 3 blasters I was entitled to for extra paint bottles, but would have likely swapped out all of them had I known what it was going to really be like. I'm sad to say that even though the experience itself was probably worthy of a 4 to 5 star review, that the prices alone are astronomical if you were to break everything down, and therefore the pathology behind my...
Read moreMy friends and I had a good time, although it was hard to see what we did on the walls because of all the layers of neon paint already on them. Be sure to use the paints sparingly as well as it goes fast - the paint bottles are like the 3" tall craft sized ones, so super small, and the paint blasters are not filled either, just a couple ounces worth of paint in each! We were pretty much losing energy/interest after 1/2 hour, but I think that would have been different if there were outlines of designs/animals/flowers etc to paint on the walls (like a coloring book), or just a solid square of black or blue that we could paint on, so we could see more of the results of our work/effort. Even just more surfaces to paint on would have been good since aside from the walls and the table, we just had 3 drums to paint on. It would have been nice to have had spray bottles or something too as the brushes and foam stamps/rollers didn't really do anything noticeably visible. The music was fun so we danced while we painted and that added another layer of engagement.
For $150 though (for 7 of us), I am not sure it was worth the 15 small paint bottles and the two paint blasters. It also bums me out how much waste there is. I could have brought booties had I known those were the type of booties we would have been using, same with the shower caps, and ponchos. I thought about taking my paint supplies with me to clean and reuse, even though I don't have a need for them. If this place cleans and reuses them that's great, if not then looking into cloth options might be good - that can be washed and reused. None of us had done it before, and we had fun, but if I ever do it again I will be looking for specific things to...
