During our divine dining experience, my dear friend and I had the heavenly opportunity to indulge in a variety of mouthwatering dishes. We kicked off our meal with a tomato and basil soup that could convert even the staunchest non-believer into a devout tomato lover. With each spoonful, we felt blessed by the harmonious blend of ripe tomatoes and fragrant basil, as if the culinary gods themselves were orchestrating this delightful symphony on our taste buds. Now, let me share a heavenly revelation: The Featherbenders Grill sandwich. Picture this: sliced turkey breast, Swiss cheese, tomato, avocado, and bacon, all snugly nestled between slices of Herb Parmesan bread. It was a divine creation, an edible sermon of flavors. With every bite, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Hallelujah!" And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, my wise decision to add extra bacon made it a truly celestial experience. Accompanied by a side of perfectly golden fries, it was a feast fit for a hungry sinner seeking redemption through indulgent flavors. In our quest for culinary salvation, we couldn't resist the temptation of the BLT Focaccia sandwich—a dish that delivered divine satisfaction. Six slices of crispy bacon, accompanied by fresh tomato and crisp lettuce, danced in holy union on our palates. It was as if the sandwich itself was whispering, "Praise the bacon!" With a heavenly spread of mayo and the fragrance of fresh-baked focaccia, it was a heavenly ode to the beloved BLT. Paired with a side of fries, it was a sinful delight that left us yearning for more. Culinary Prowess and Attentive Service These delectable dishes were a testament to the culinary prowess of the chefs, who must have received divine inspiration in their creations. Each bite was a religious experience, filled with flavor miracles and taste revelations. The attentive staff, like guardian angels, provided prompt and friendly service, ensuring our dining pilgrimage was a truly blessed affair. Conclusion and Recommendation In conclusion, dining at this converted church-turned-restaurant was an ethereal experience that left us singing hymns of gastronomic delight. From the sacred ambiance to the divine dishes and impeccable service, every aspect was a testament to culinary salvation. Whether you're seeking a holy soup experience, heavenly sandwiches, or simply a divine dining adventure, this place is a culinary sanctuary worth visiting. Trust me, it will make your taste buds shout, "Amen!"

Very quaint, very delicious, very much looking forward to the next time I get to eat here! Visiting friends in Oregon and we looked for a nearby breakfast place, and here we landed. We went on a Saturday at 11am and it was definitely a little busy but not too bad at all. Service was friendly and prompt, even when our cinnamon roll was accidentally forgotten our waitress heated it up for us and let me tell you definitely worth the wait! We also got the McKenzie Omelete, the Marion Berry-Hazelnut french toast, the Eggs Benedict, and I got a vanilla latte. Latte was lovely, creamy and very comforting. Really loved the eggs Benedict! Classic and done really well. The French toast had a little too much sauce on top for my taste, however the sauce and French toast itself was bomb. Cinnamon roll was scrumptious, and also very big and can easily be shared. The real star for me though was the McKenzie omelet! Had mushrooms and onions inside, so freaking good! Couldn't get enough of it. Would love to stop here again the next time I visit and see what new or seasonal items they have!

We'll save the best for last. First, Our Daily Bread is quaint, housed as it is in what appears to be a former church. For breakfast this morning I had the McKenzie omelette: veggies, bacon & cheese with a biscuit and potatoes. Way good. Way better than most. Dinner last night was fish & chips, sub onion rings for chips. The fish was delectable, quite different from but just good as my other top-notch fried fish restaurant. Tied for first place here. Oh, but the onion rings were absolutely amazing. By far the best onion rings I have ever eaten. So light and fluffy. Beautiful to behold and more delightful to eat. No contest: Gold Medal! I ate outdoors both times. The dining area is on the side, the road is in front. Traffic nose not bad, a splashing fountain helps. I expect to return tomorrow morning for their $5 weekday breakfast special.

ODB has recently moved across the street to the little shopping center on Territorial Highway. I took my sister & bro-in-law there for lunch, as they had loved the restaurant a couple of years ago when they visited. I know these are tough times & ODB has only been open in this place for about 3 weeks, but I was really embarrassed at the service. The woman at the counter who took our orders didn't seem to know what she was doing--we had to keep repeating ourselves (I know, masks--but she just seemed confused in general). There was no table for 3 on the sidewalk in the shade & the only empty larger tables had non-working umbrellas (seriously--in the summer, on asphalt?). There was a large table with working umbrella but it had an order number on it so they said it was taken--turned out they'd just forgot to take the order number off it, so we did finally sit there. We sat...and sat...and sat, tho the drinks came right away. Then my bro-in-law noticed that his food was not on the receipt, and sure enough when the food FINALLY arrived, confused lady had not got his order (we were not ordering anything complicated--3 entrees right off the menu, 2 iced teas, one diet soda). The confused lady brought the food and did sort of a lukewarm apology, didn't offer any compensation (free drinks?), didn't even offer to make his sandwich until she'd started to walk away, then didn't offer to get it made right away. We just said no thanks (politely) as we needed to get home, so between us 3 we had a small scoop of chicken salad, a cup of soup & a grilled cheese. The waitress offered to bring an extra plate, as we were sharing, but we had to ask for silverware for my bro and she didn't bring the extra bowl (for soup sharing) as we'd asked. My sis & bro had been on the road all morning and skipped breakfast in anticipation, so they were starving. This is not the first time I've had major service problems at this place--these folks are as nice as could be but have no clue how to run even this very small restaurant. I live here in Veneta and this is the only "nice" place to eat (there are other places with good food, but more casual), but I won't be back until I hear that they've got this figured out. And I hope they do it soon--the new place is adorable inside, and the food is GOOOOOD! Bread is awesome--I'll just get baked goods here b/c I want to support them & I want...

I ordered online and requested curbside delivery as I am undergoing chemo and am avoiding as many germ exposures as possible. It was the worst experience. I arrived 2 minutes early and phoned to let them know I was there, I was told the order would be brought out as soon as it was ready. 15 minutes later, still no order. so I went inside to inquire. I was told it wasn't ready and would be brought out as soon as it was ready. 25 minutes later still no order, so I went back inside to inquire at which point the waitress tells me they have not received an order from me. I am upset and ask, at what time are you going to let me know, I placed my order at 1:53, I've called and inquired twice and it is now 3pm. the whole time they were trying to put the fault on me. at one point Tim, wants to give me a free meal, but I have a $71 order for 3 people. He seems to be going to give me the order but continues to try to blame me for a problem with their website. so after about an hour and 45 minute wait they bring me my order that after Tim and I keep going over how I ordered step by step on my phone. it submits another order for pickup the next day. since their site says it closes at 3 pm. so I throw this out there, my order is paid for so do not make it tomorrow. so I left with my order, which was wrong and I paid for it and it only took an hour and forty five minutes to recieve with a bunch of hassle and not a single freebie for all the hassle. I do not recommend this place at all. I suggested several times they need to fix their site but all I got was excuses for the problem. ...
