Ho Ho's has been around for a while, but ownership has changed hands a few times. The current ownership has brought the quality of food and dining experience back! I highly recommend you give them a try. This place gives off all the qualities of good Asian food. The whole family is there, and helping. The owner/cook came to our table and started a friendly conversation as we packed up our food and paid our check. It always makes me feel good as a customer to have those personal touches and feel like a friend.
We ordered the chicken in black bean sauce, Mongolian beef, fried shrimp, potsickers, and bbq pork fried rice. The pot stickers are fried until crispy, yet they have a tender and flavorful center. The fried shrimp was butterflied and perfectly coated in panko. I couldn't believe how soft and tender they were inside. The bbq pork fried rice was so fresh and so good. There were actual bite size peieces of pork, egg, and veggies. The entrees were delicious, too. The Mongolian beef was spicy but not excessive. The black bean sauce on the chicken was really delicious and not overly salty, like many black bean sauces can be. This was way too much food for two people, but now I don't have to...
Read moreWe have been monthly to bi-monthly patrons of Ho-Ho since the new owners. We LOVE the food. We have witnessed the owner bend over backwards to make things right on a few occasions when we have eaten in. We have always had great service and food here until the last 2 visits. We ordered 3 orders and 1 appetizer to go 2 weeks ago. Once we arrived home ( we live 20 minutes outside of town)we discovered we had someone else’s order. We called and spoke to a waitress about the slip up. She acknowledged the mistake and said the “owner will make it right”. We went in on Saturday to order 2 orders 1 side. Explained who we where and that we would like to resolve the previous order mistake. We where offered $6 off our new meal. After spending $83 to receive our corrected meal seems like a slap in the face. We explained we...
Read moreWe had supper here tonight. The service was excellent and most of the food was very good. The soups could use a bit more flavor but need thinned out just a bit, the sweet and sour sauce is way too sweet and thick so I learned to order mine on the side. The owner/manager was more than happy to re-fire my pork and provide sauce for dipping. The potstickers are frozen fried dumplings. True potstickers are cooked in a wok with very little oil until one side is crispy and brown, not fried in oil like a French fry. The Happy Family was really good. Very good deal for the price, with us taking home an entire meal and we were full too. Will be back to try other dishes for sure. One big drawback: You could clearly hear “Chef Mic” whirling around in the kitchen, beeping loudly as food was...
