Never, never never again!! We’re been going here for ten years…in the recent past we had a few bad experiences (terrible service and disappointing meals) but we’re encouraged to go with another couple before a New Year’s Eve celebration in their community. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated immediately. We ordered drinks and waited quite a bit for them….this is a VERY small restaurant..we ordered wings and they took a solid half hour. Prior to their arrival we asked for another glass of wine and then asked multiple times more before we got them. Asked for more bread but it never arrived. Asked for more napkins the entire time we were there and NEVER received them…as a good amount of time had gone by since the wings were cleared we had to insist on her bring our salads. By this time we had been there over an hour. When the seven o’clock hour arrived we still had no dinners. Each time we inquired we were told “they’re being plated” but each time another ten minutes would go by. When we finally got extremely upset we were told it was our fault because we had wings??? We then asked the other server for help explaining all that was happening and she went in the kitchen to see what was what she could do. The table next to us had come in LONG after us and was paying their bill with there left overs wrapped and ready to go! We asked for the owner and the server insisted he was aware we wanted to see him but he never came out…we finally got our food, shoveled down a few bites but had to leave to get to our event. The other server said the owner wanted to know what he could do for us and (although it seemed obvious to me) I suggested compensation of some kind on our bill and he did not charge us. In the end we were there for over two hours and it was a nightmare. Perhaps if the owner had taken a few minutes to listen to our concerns this review would not have...
Read moreI am from Iowa but go to Florida for vacation every year. We have been to this restaurant a couple times before. It has always been good with with food and excellent service...up till thus last time. We were in Florida from March 12 till the 26th. My youngest son's birthday was on the 25th and he requested his bday dinner here. So we went. It was packed. When I asked for an estimate on wait time I was told 15 minutes ad there was a group ahead of me and 2 tables ready to leave. Well we waited over an hour the group that was waiting ahead of us left. We sat outside for that hour watched people leave 3 more groups came to wait as well. Finally get in it took waitress 30 minutes to even take our drink order. We sat for another hour waiting for our food to be brought out. We sat with empty drink glasses, no bread was brought to our table, while we watches our waitress hang out at a table with an elderly couple majority of the time. When food finally came put it was cold and my spaghetti I ordered was nasty. The waitress got short and crabby when I asked her for the bread. The salads had way to much dressing on them like they just dumped a whole jug of it on top of salad. Sad to say this was the worst experience I have ever had at this establishment!! It had always been good in the past. The food was good and the service was good in the past. But this time it was not very good!! Very disappointing!! We had plans for after dinner that night that we missed out on because of being in there waiting well over 3 hours. By the time we finished it was almost 9 pm and we got to the restaurant a little after 5 pm!! Everything else was closed...
Read moreOmg fantastic! My husband and I went last night for dinner. Very convenient location close to home. Small cute restaurant with nine tables and loads of character. The servers were Lauren and Jen. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Jen asked if it was our first time, which it was and she welcomed us and gave us a restaurant and menu run-down. She is from Buffalo and we are from same area so it was nice and we had that homey feeling. Hot fresh bread came out right away with a yummy dipping oil that had an amazing flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on. Salads were fresh and nice sized. So then there was a nice little let your tummy settle period waiting for the entree. Everything is homemade. The portions are huge. We had leftovers for lunch at work next day. All perfectly wrapped up for us to go. I had chicken parm which was to die for. The chicken parm size was as big as the whole plate with a ton of mozzarella. Spaghetti was cooked perfectly. Sauce delicious. My husband had shrimp scallop Alfredo which he loved and the shrimp were huge as well as nice sized scallops. Our waitress Jen was super nice and friendly and helpful. They were exercising social distancing with the tables which showed they care about their customers. The steaks coming out looked amazing. We cannot wait to go back and try the steak and pizza and wings since we hear about the original buffalo sauce recipe. The prices were great. Thank you for an awesome first time and a great new restaurant to add to our rotation of dinners. Highly...
