Bay Buzz Coffee & Snacks — Restaurant in Ventnor City

I really wanted to like Bay Buzz and was super excited to try them out. The store itself is super nice, love the openness of the store and gives a beachy vibe. It’s a great location, right by the Dorset Ave bridge. Service was good and fast. The drinks were very underwhelming and disappointing. I bought two drinks because I couldn’t make up my mind on what to get… I got the joy latte and strawberry coconut matcha latte. First off, they only offer one size. The strawberry matcha latte lacked any matcha taste, I felt like I was drinking just strawberry milk. The joy latte was weak, a very faint taste of coffee. Maybe the girl just made it wrong?? Idk! Not much snacks going on, I saw their social media they sold muffins and cookies… when I went, they only had beignets, which was more like an oversized munchkin injected...

This place is an absolute gem and such a welcome addition to the island. The coffee is fantastic — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The vibes are just right: warm, inviting, and laid-back, perfect for a quick caffeine fix or a relaxed morning hangout.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to enjoy being there, which adds to the overall charm. The owners are lovely — kind, community-minded people who actively support other local businesses on the island, which makes supporting them feel even better.

One of my favorite things? It’s connected to their wine shop! You can grab your morning coffee and also pick up a great bottle of wine for dinner later — it’s a perfect pairing in one stop.

I grew up in the area and have been back for a week in the summer the last 2 years and this is my MUST GO. This place is like a breath of fresh air! So happy the island and Ventnor Heights especially has a little place like this. Love the niche brands and food and drink selections. Stumbled upon the owner on one visit and she was so kind and welcoming and answered all my questions. I got the snackle charcuterie box both times and the banh mi sandwiches. The coffee drinks are always so creative and I want to order all of them. The employee who was there on my most recent visit answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed and then even helped clean up after my toddler. Great spot and even...
