Custard's Last Stand — Restaurant in Ventnor City

Found a fingernail in my ice cream 🤮 What is wrong with you people. I don’t know if this is some sick joke or an accident but you need better quality control and maybe wear gloves or something so yall don’t contaminate my food that I paid good money for. The worker I got my food from seemed miserable and like she didn’t want to work there. She brushed off questions about the flavors and was overall rude. I asked to speak to a manager but was told there was no manager there at the time. There was other workers in the back on their phones and not helping other customers in the store. This is a lousy excuse for an establishment and I will make sure my friends and family know about this out of respect for them. I wish I could give zero stars because of this horrible establishment.

Have been going to custards for about 5 years now. Always nice people and the price to ratio was excellent. However this year, understanding the inflation going on unfortunately custards now has some of the highest prices to lowest ratio. I'm far from the only person talking about this. Hearing others in the group while at a baseball game saying no custards afterwards. Too expensive. If the prices go up some OK understand but the ratio coming down as much as it did that we don't understand. Unfortunately this will now be a once a month trip instead of bi weekly. Over 20 dollars for 3 small cones. Disgrace. The regular gellato compared to last year is shameful. The following day I went to Rita's for a regular gellato, twice the size and only 5 dollars. We went before they closed. The staff was super friendly! I ordered a small cone with peach ice cream — it was delicious and had peach chunks in it. They gave me a bowl to put some of my ice cream in to make it easier to eat. The smalls are two very large scoops. Two people in my group ordered the key lime and it tasted just like key lime pie — in a cup filled flush with the top. Another ordered a small cone with s’mores and death by chocolate — I didn’t try the s’mores but the death by chocolate was really good. It had brownie chunks in it and the chocolate ice cream tasted like...
