I really wanted to like this place, but I didn’t have a pleasant experience. The food was delivered warm, and was your average claimed Mexican food. We ordered a burrito, a torta, and 2 horchatas. Not authentic, not delicious, not flavorful. The meats were tender but flavor lacking. We also had two horchatas that were huge, but disgusting. They tasted like tap water with sugar, and had no milk flavor whatsoever. We were charged 3.99 per horchata, and I didn’t drink mine. The owners seem nice. The floor was dirty, and they had the radio on in the kitchen. The radio was super loud, with terrible speakers, and the tv in the dining space was also on with loud sound. It was annoying. Read moreMy husband and I discovered El Asadero via their advertising on Instagram. Wow! Apparently their suadero is highly popular, as they were sold out of it by 3pm. We'll have to try it in a burrito, along with a few birria tacos next time. Pictured is my torta packed with very tender cabeza, chorizo, and lots of avocado. It was perfect!
