My husband and I discovered El Asadero via their advertising on Instagram. Wow! Apparently their suadero is highly popular, as they were sold out of it by 3pm. We'll have to try it in a burrito, along with a few birria tacos next time. Pictured is my torta packed with very tender cabeza, chorizo, and lots of avocado. It was perfect! Packed with flavor, HALF a torta was large & satisfying enough to be a full meal! We can't wait to try the rest of their menu, as it was worth the 45+minutes drive to get there! Interestingly enough, they also advertised a room to rent for special occasions too. Too cool, with scrumptious food with it. Can't beat it!! <3

Best Burrito Ever! I got the Chile Relleno wet burrito, they use Pasilla Chiles & queso Fresco. (Almost everyone uses either Ortega can chillies or California chiles stuffed with Mozzarella cheese) if there was a way I could do 10 ⭐️ I would have. The only thing I would change (personal preference) is add a spicier Salsa, other than that. The Staff was also very friendly and accommodating, nice low volume music. This is Burrito Perfection, highly recommend

El Asadero is the real definition of it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside this place might look intimidating but the food here is so good I got myself an al pastor quesadilla and it’s one of the best ones I’ve had in Ventura. food is served very hot like how food is suppose to be served I will definitely be back to try out more things from the menu. I highly recommend trying this place out you won’t be disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place, but I didn’t have a pleasant experience. The food was delivered warm, and was your average claimed Mexican food. We ordered a burrito, a torta, and 2 horchatas. Not authentic, not delicious, not flavorful. The meats were tender but flavor lacking. We also had two horchatas that were huge, but disgusting. They tasted like tap water with sugar, and had no milk flavor whatsoever. We were charged 3.99 per horchata, and I didn’t drink mine. The owners seem nice. The floor was dirty, and they had the radio on in the kitchen. The radio was super loud, with terrible speakers, and the tv in the dining space was also on with loud sound. It was annoying. No one was there for lunch; we were the only ones there. We should have run out the door when we saw it empty, but we just wanted to give it a chance. It was a...
