Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Ventura

Can't believe I've passed up this burger joint for years thinking it wasn't worth navigating the busy intersection where it's located. Even though getting into the parking lot seemed daunting, the food was well worth it. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, some French fries, and a shake. At first I cringed at the $20+ cost, but afterwards I deemed that it was well worth it. The chicken sandwich was so Gourmet that it melted in my mouth. There were so many layers of flavor from the toasted bread to the grilled chicken to the creamy avocado, that my taste buds were in awe. The chocolate shake was in fact legendary, probably the best I've ever had. I sat outside and people watched while I ate which made me appreciate where I live and change the way I feel about this busy intersection. Great location. This review is only about the service. I was so upset that I decided not to eat here. My partner went to the restroom and told me the code. Not realizing the restroom was outside, I went inside to ask what the code was so I could use the restroom before I order (which I was going to do), but she gave me a whole story about how each receipt has a bathroom code and it changes every time it locks. When I located the restroom, I used the code my partner gave me and it worked without issue. I don't appreciate the inconsistent story I was given versus when my partner walked into ask the same question as me and got a totally different response. On May 20, Wednesday around 12:20 PM… When I walked in to pick up my online order, I was surprised to see Many people inside, some in line and others standing nearby. One man standing right next to my order to pick up. In a hurry to leave the crowd of people, I left with my contactless order. Not pleased with my order fulfillment! They gave me fries instead of onion rings, and omitted the two containers of barbecue sauce that I ordered. A caution to check your order carefully before leaving the premises. Also, while online said my order would be ready in 20 minutes, it probably was ready in 10... due to the melted condition of the strawberry shake....
