Worst experience ever going to see live music there. The security staff was abusive, rough handled me and threw me out in the middle of the first song! Here's what happened. Four of us, two couples got our first drink and proceeded to watch the band, my girlfriend and I went down to VIP section, as we paid extra for them. The security guard told us we couldn't bring drinks in and told me I needed to leave it. We did. Then we returned to dance, as we were dancing...sercutity came from up behind me and pulled me by my shoulder telling me to leave. My girlfriend asked why, as did I. Then another security guard came and pulled my arms behind my back like he was cuffing me?!?! I started pulling out of the death hold stating get your hands off me as I continued to question WHAT was happening and WHY they were hassling me and telling me to GET OUT! Totally baffled and feeling pretty harassed and manhandled. My boyfriend and his friend came to me and started pulling three security guards off of me, trying to ascertain the same info, "what the hell is happening?!" My girlfriend, once we were thrown outside asked one last time...why are you doing this, and the female security guard lied and said I was throwing punching at the guard!!! I'm super shocked, upset and baffled by this experience. I will be contacting management and filing a complaint. Completely unjustified and abusive treatment. By the way, we are four 50 year old professionals who were out to enjoy a great evening. What a busy! We took our good time to a local bar where we continued to dance and enjoy ourselves...without harassment! If you read this, and have had similar experiences with security there,...
Read moreWorst experience I've had. Attended November 3rd Dwight Yoakam show with my niece. Tickets I purchased were advertised as "Orchestra Pit, first come first served" for seating. I arrive fairly early and find the first 5 or so rows closed off because they had all been "reserved" for a "partner" who does business with the venue. So much for truth in advertising. A drunken lady sitting behind me kept hitting me on the back of the head "accidently" and then started dancing with her equally drunk boyfriend who also started with the inappropriate behavior. After alerting the nearest security guard right behind us, who acted dumb and apparently wasn't paying any attention, the lady and her boyfriend approached us and tried to hit me and the drunk lady actually slapped me. After pushing her hand away the security guard escorted ME out. The only saving grace was the head of security, Veronica, who handled the situation fairly professionally and let me back in, but still allowed the drunk couple to stay. I'd hate to think that race had anything to do with it, but the drunk lady was white, and I am not. Don't waste any of your money on this dump. False advertising and not handling the drunks who get out of hand does not make for a...
Read moreUnfortunately, there was no A/C, so it was really hot in there. I had surgery on my ankle and had to use a knee scooter. I could not walk on that leg at all. I had purchased my non-refundable tickets to see Matt Fraser a month prior, so I had no idea I was going to have an injury. I was surprised to find that this theater is not accessible. I asked the employee who was putting on our wristband how I would get to the pit. That's what my tickets were for. The employee had no idea how to get me there. He asked if I could walk at all, and I said no. He was very nice, I have to add. He called another employee, and he was also stumped. He said there was a very steep ramp he could take me through, and that was the only way. He was right. It was very steep! He was a very tall, strong man, and I was thankful for that. He held on to the front of the scooter and helped me down slowly, and my sister walked along the side of me. To leave, he pulled me up, and another employee walked behind me just in case. I was very thankful for all the assistance I received. Every employee was so kind and happy to help. I just want people to know ahead of time if you can't walk at all. This might not be the...
