Stopped back in to the International Cafe. Been here several times before and have never been disappointed. Menu is giant amd the waitress said they have cut out a full page of selections (you would never know it!). We ordered a sauerkraut ball appetizer, which the waitress had to check if they had anymore, luckily they did! Oh my, these rather large sauerkraut balls were amazing. Touch of cheese, hint of sausage & great sauerkraut then breaded and deep fried. These we will beg for next time we stop! Probably can easily make a meal out of these for sure! I ordered the New York Pastrami sandwich. Good flavor, maybe lacking a little on the peppery flavoring, but then topped with gooey swiss & brown mustard on top of seeded rye toast. Good stuff! I chose fries as the side and they are the steak fries, they were good, fresh, just normal old steak fries is all. Wife ordered the World Platter, comes with a stuffed cabbage roll, chicken paprikash & 3 potato pierogies. Stuffed cabbage was less than to be desired. Sauce seemed tinny. Filling seemed to be processed, production line made, then frozen. Pierogies were above average, good flavor, buttery topped with caramelized onions. Chicken paprikash was also just good. It was lacking a little of the paprika rich, thick, sauciness. Good portion of shredded chicken within. Just needed a little more creaminess & paprika flavor. In the end, we will definitely be back, just with some order modifications and begging that they are not out of the sauerkraut balls!!

Food is delicious. Had one of their platters, which included stuffed cabbage, Pierogi, Chicken Paprikash, along with a homemade soup - my choice was the seafood bisque. Absolutely delicious homemade soup. The other dish was Pierogi and 2 sausages, which I found the sausage delicious. My dining friend thought the sausages were okay. We both really enjoyed the Chicken Paprikash. He had the homemade coleslaw, which I enjoyed. Once again he thought it was okay. Desserts are homemade. We shared the carrot cake, which he found to be delicious with different ingredients. We also shared the cheesecake, which was good. The only dessert not made is the chocolate German cake. Their drink menu is diverse; however no prices are provided. Would like to try more of their homemade soups. Looking forward to returning. Saturday night only open to 8:00 PM. Sunday menu showed a brunch is available.

Great experience! We visited on a Sunday so they had their all day breakfast buffet out, where they make a custom omelette for you right on the spot. The employees were fantastic, I honestly cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful each and every one was to us. Our waitress answered all questions we had and even checked on some ingredients in dishes. They had gluten free choices, vegan/vegetarian, and were very willing to sub things in a meal. The dining area and restrooms were very clean. They offer several different rooms for dining and have facilities for banquets and/or special events. Handicap accessible, and plenty of parking available. The restaurant is also very easy to find and right off of the main road so it is highly visible.

Horrible service from Jen (Manger!! Horrible fish! Horrible clam chowder! I ordered a fish dinner, two bowls of clam chowder, chicken noodle soup, coleslaw, hamburger and fries, the cheeseburger and fries. When I got my meals home and I served my dad his fish dinner the fish was dark colored, cold, and chewy so is the fries. The tartar sauce looked old and tasted old. My dad was upset that I had paid over 68 dollars for the food also i never received my coleslaw. So, I called and was nice and the young girl just kept saying sorry about that, but never once said I will remake your order. The only thing she said " oh I can have you come back and you can get your coleslaw". I also told her I waited to be checked out for more then a few minutes. So i hung up and I just thought WOW! So i called back and talked to Jen the Manger and she said she would remake the fish dinner and make sure i get my coleslaw and I also told her how cold the clam chowder was. I drove back to martino's and they gave me fish a cup of clam chower and a coleslaw. I opened the bag up and I asked Jen i thought I was getting my fish dinner remade? She said I thought it was your fish. I told Jen yes but the fries will be cold and my mom has to eat. She was rude very and asked me what do you want. I said nothing and walked out. On the way home I just thought if I owned a business I would want my employees to do the very best and make sure the customer was satisfied. So I called back asked to speak to the Manger. The girl hung up on me WOW! I called back and askes to speak to a Manger. I had no idea Jen was a Manger (WOW)! Jen the Manger got on the phone and said I DID WHAT YOU WANTED AND REMADE THE FISH! WHAT DO YOU WANT? I told Jen the Manger how i thought I was getting a remake of the meal. It makes sense to remake the meal fresh not just the fish. I told Jen the Manger I would be doing a review and she said good and I will respond to it then slammed the phone in my ear. I have worked hard in food service my mom 30 years and I would have been fired. My mom said clearly being a Manger and working in food service is not what she should be doing. Shame on you Jen the Manger for treating customers like that! I wouldn't come back here if you have paid me a million dollars. Whoever owns this establishment needs to give Jen the manager some Management training and some severe customer service training. She treats her customers like this you won't be...

I am not one to give a review unless a place is excellent or totally awful. Decided to try this place out after reading reviews. Hostess sat us and took our drink order. Waitress came over, not a hello, not a greeting of any sort, walked up to the table and asked if we were ready to order…..ordered the chicken paprikash, husband ordered a gyro. Paprikash didn’t taste like paprikash, don’t know what it tasted like but it was absolutely horrible. I make paprikash , I am Hungarian and I have ate paprikash out several times, I have never had it taste so bad….either something was spoiled or they don’t know how to make paprikash, but I took one bite and had to spit it out it was that bad. I have NEVER had to send back food before at a restaurant. I called the waitress over apologized and told her that I am sorry but it just doesn’t taste right….I get my bill they didn’t even take it off the bill. They said they would give 50% off,,,,I would understand if I ate 50% of the meal but only took one bite and spit it out. Horrible experience. Never will I eat there again and I will make sure my other boater community knows about this experience. I have been in the restaurant business for over 25 years and never would let the customer pay for something that they didn’t like…especially a...
