WINGERS Restaurant & Alehouse — Restaurant in Vernal

So, here I go. I NEVER do reviews like this. But, I'm very upset. I've worked at 2 different Wingers in 2 different states over the past 20 years, so I may be a little biased. But, I used to LOVE coming to this one (which I have not worked at) it was my favorite place. But, over the last 2 years, it has gone downhill DRAMATICALLY to my opinion and ONLY my opinion. The servers act like they could care less to be there. Except for 2 that have always been exceptional and great (I'll remember their names). Since having 4 kids, I don't always get to dine out, so it is a treat for us. The last 3 times I've called and ordered, it went fine but picking up is a nightmare!! I also doordash so, I know how it works there. Every time I come in, there are others waiting around while I watch server after server just glance and walk by. No "Hi, we'll be right with you" no "One moment, please." The staff acts like it's a bother, weather it's take out or not. I went in one time and an employee was sitting at the table around the corner but I could see her, she looked back around after me waiting for 10 minutes, and said "If you're here for pick up, your order is right there" and then disappeared. There were 3 orders sitting there and she couldn't be bothered to get out of the booth to come help, so I had to go through all the orders to figure out which was mine. I think it's unprofessional. And that was just the past, tonight wasn't as bad because Cooper was there in the end. Cooper, is AWESOME!! He has always stepped in and helped and is always very attentive and kind. I've only had interactions with him a few times, but still. He is awesome! He even helped me take my order out to my car. We appreciate him! The food is great! Shout out to the cooks. I do love it. But, the service in the FOH lately is really discouraging my family from wanting to continue...

Horrible customer service. They have a bloody answering machine. They dont call back. They rudely dont let you finish your message before ending. There food quality has declined dramatically. Update on wingers in vernal…. So tonight i made an online order. I should of learned from the many lessons of this particular restaurant. Sadly i have had several bad experiences ranging from poor customer service to not even getting the meal that had all ready been paid for. No doubt if id of been sitting in the restaurant i would of walked out after waiting an hour or more to receive promised goods. An would of done so worry free. But sadly I ordered online tonight an did not receive the meal i purchased or any meal at all. After waiting well over an hour with continuous excuses as too why I didn’t receive it. I finally asked for the manager an asked her to cancel the meal an refund the credit card used. An this was right after going to the local grocery store! An all my items sitting in the car while i waited… i kept going back because my Wife an i love some of the food. But enough is enough from this business as well as others in the area. It is abundantly clear that standards an ethics are a thing of the past. An sadly i can an will just cook better in my own home. I will not be spending anymore of my hard earned money in this business or any others in town. Until they bring their standards back up. I'd give zero stars if it let me. Such a waste of time and money. Very poorly run restaurant. Every employee seemed to act like it was their first day working at a restaurant...or any job for that matter. Weird entrance design for restaurant as well.

If you want to order a beer, forget it. They're not capable of handling the request. That's a strange thing to see from a restaurant with "Alehouse" in their name when there's at least 6-7 other places nearby in town who are doing a great job at serving anything you'd like to drink.

I'll say it again. The word "Alehouse" is right in their name. Yet, they just don't know how to serve ale.

They don't have a drink menu. They make the manager come over to check your ID, then wait 10 minutes, then bring over a tablet that lists a few beer names with no descriptions and you have to choose while they stand there staring at you. The beer I ended up ordering was terrible. Truly awful.

This is a town benefiting from an oilfield boom. You'd think they would recognize that there's workers with a lot of money from out of town who'd like a drink after working 14+ hours.

Enough about their lack of competence regarding beer. Their food is not good either. Took 45 minutes to come out of the kitchen and they weren't even busy. Now, two hours later, I'm feeling sick.
