The Tracks Deli is a hidden gem when it comes to homemade soups that will warm your soul. I recently had the pleasure of trying their selection of soups, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.

The first thing that caught my attention was the variety of soups available. From classic favorites like chicken noodle and tomato basil to more adventurous options like butternut squash and lentil, Tracks Deli offers something for every palate. Each soup is made with fresh, quality ingredients that make a noticeable difference in both flavor and texture.

I started with a cup of their creamy broccoli cheddar soup, and it was love at first spoonful. The soup was rich and velvety, with the perfect balance of cheese and broccoli flavors. It was clear that it was made with care and attention to detail. The accompanying warm bread roll was the perfect dunking companion.

Next, I tried the hearty beef stew, and it did not disappoint. The chunks of tender beef melted in my mouth, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. It was a comforting and satisfying meal in a bowl.

To round off my meal, I couldn't resist trying the homemade chicken noodle soup. The broth was flavorful, the vegetables were fresh, and the noodles had just the right amount of bite. It was like a warm hug in a bowl.

The service at Tracks Deli was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes of the soups.

If you're in the mood for a delicious and comforting bowl of homemade soup, look no further than Tracks Deli. Whether you're a soup aficionado or just looking for a tasty lunch option, Tracks Deli is sure to satisfy your cravings. I can't wait to go back and try more of...

The Tracks Deli has been a staple in almost all of my life as a Vernon resident. When it closed for a while and Kevin and Scott had purchased it, it was brought to a whole new level of service, success and customer satisfaction. The breakfast sandwiches we once knew were back and better than ever. Everyone was thriving; new specials; great staff all around. This has continued through the new owner, Mike. Every time I drop in, business is always thriving. Plenty of homemade soups to choose from; consistent sandwiches and quality and local people behind the counter running the show. They have brought many new specials to the table such as Mary’s personal chicken pot pies, and most recently, halal food (picture attached) which consisted of Yellow Rice, Juicy and flavorful Marinated Chicken, diced pita bread; and your choice of White Sauce; Spicy Red Garlic Sauce, or both. This comes as close to if not better than what you would get at the Halal Guys or in the city at a food cart. You’re not going to be disappointed.

Plenty of options to choose from, they are very flexible with modifications and if for whatever reason if something is not made right, let them know and they will fix it.

Mike, Jack, Mary, Lynn and the others make a fantastic team and a fantastic experience end to end all around. If you have not already been here, please...

Mom and I were out early. Whenever we go out and it's early, I know we're stopping somewhere to eat. I Google what's near me, and the name drew me in. Clicked on a few pictures and said, "Let's give it a whirl. It's next to the railroad tracks. A traveled road in the cut. The ladies were welcoming. I met a loyal customer and had a conversation about what they enjoyed from the menu. Mom and I ordered B.E.C. on plain bagels with coffee. Coffee was just how I liked it, light with cream and perfect sweetness of honey. Mom agreed, although she had splenda, not honey. Mmmm. Let's talk B.E.C, our opinion, Yummy 😋. The bagels were perfectly soft, right where they should be!!! Bacon was good. I do like my bacon a little more crispy but still good. Eggs scrambled, fluffy. The cheese was melted, and there were no complaints. Definitely will put it on my list of travel vibes when I am passing through Vernon. The Tracks is a decent size, and there's some seating outside. Look it up and stop in!

I stopped in for the first time at The Tracks Deli this morning. Full disclosure...the owner is a childhood friend of mine. However, that has no bearing on my review of the food. I had their Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll. One of the best in the state. Too many deli’s skimp on the Taylor ham and only give you 2 or 3 slices. Not here. They load 4 slices and are also generous with the cheese. As I was chatting with my old friend, I heard several conversations between customers and the counter help (who are wicked friendly, by the way...) about their homemade soups. So before I left I chose two to bring home and try for dinner. The stuffed pepper soup and the seafood (crab/corn) chowder were delicious. There were 6 other choices on the chalkboard that I wish I could have also tasted. Next time, for sure! If you haven’t stopped in and seen the renovated space (complete with a working fireplace), you’re missing one of the best delicatessen’s in the state!
