First off, normally I love D'angelos. This location is just terrible!I will describe the last time I went in there, which was about an hour ago. I walk in and I attempt to order a Great Divide which is really just two large sandwiches put together. Well they refused stating that I needed to order two hours in advance. Not only that but the staff was rude and matter of factly with me.
So I decide to order a drink while I was waiting. I go to the fountain to choose my soda and there is no ice. So I go and tell the person who helped me and she just shrugged her shoulders. So I decide to try and drink the soda but it was actually warm I mean almost like hot coffee warm. I told her it was disgusting and I needed ice. The senior employee there than proceeds to give me excuses and when I tried to get a refund for my drink she flat out refused!
I am all set with this location. By far the worst experience ever...
Read moreI ordered a turkey Club and a ham, bacon, cheese sandwich and both came without bacon. I took it back to the counter and the guy said I didn't order bacon. I said, I did but no matter ,I would be glad to pay for the difference. He promptly put two cold pieces of bacon on each sandwich and then proceeded to toss the plates on to the table for us. I will never be back here again.Update 08/18/19 Well I have gone back and the management has changed staff now and I now rate 4 stars instead of 1. They have really turned it around. The chicken Vermonter is downright addicting it's so good . Great reversal guys. One last thing, please stop cleaning the trays with the same cloth that has never been washed and smells like stale water and you will get 5 starsx. 12/13/24 they have stopped using old cloth to clean the tables so now it is 5 stars . Great...
Read moreI’ve been hearing more and more about this restaurant and finally decided to try it myself. I was not disappointed! First of all, it is sparkling clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. They follow all the Covid protocols you’d expect. Now the food: I was really hungry and ordered two small subs - a Steak Bomb and the hot Italian. Fresh, flavorful ingredients at just the right temperature and even though they I ordered the small sizes, they were stuffed!
The Steak Bomb blows away any “Philly” I’ve ever had. The Italian impressed me because they used real cappy rather than the usual ho-hum deli ham you get at most places. The dressing was perfect. Really impressed! The prices are very reasonable.
Can’t wait to go back and try the lobster roll! Even after all I heard this place it far exceeded my expectations. Just a...
