I LOVE Crumbl cookies. I've bought plenty in the last year. I've never had a bad one, and they are always fresh and wonderful in taste. What I don't like is the service. I went yesterday, and there were two people waiting for their cookies, I was waiting to place an order, and 3 people were behind me. One worker was getting the cookies, decorating and boxing them. At that time, this worker was putting together a box of 12 which is time consuming. Meanwhile, I continue to wait. Two other workers are either frosting cookies or mixing batter/or frosting. I would think it more important to take care of the customer than stand in the back and frost cookies or make frosting. After waiting for over 5 -7 minutes, never asked for my order, I left. I did go back the next day. Only 2 workers. One putting together orders, and the same one in back frosting cookies. Two ladies were waiting for their cookies. I was standing at the counter waiting to order. I was not told to use the kiosk/computer. Yes I am older and didn't even notice it was there. I waited while the other two ladies were served. Meanwhile a group of 4 young girls came in and ordered by computer. I waited while the young man served the two ladies ahead of me. And then I waited while the worker made the order for the group of four who came in AFTER me (about 6 cookies), The young man handling the cookie orders did not tell me to use the kiosk/computer. Disappointing, and I felt disrespected because he served the young girls before me. As good as Crumbl cookies are, I am so disappointed in the service that I will really consider if I...
Read moreReally good desserts usually, but my last visit is the third time I've gotten a cookie or cake that really looked either rushed or purposefully shorted on the frosting. This time was my fault, because I ordered several desserts and I only briefly glanced at one of them when they asked how they looked, so when I got home I was not very happy to notice the "Confetti Cake" I ordered was missing at least 1/4 of the frosting it should have had. The Crumbl website shows a fully frosted cake, and the example cake the store had on the front counter that I looked at before ordering had a fully frosted top and middle layer, and what I got was noticeably less than that, which is disappointing because the entire reason I ordered it was because of the frosting.
I wish I had noticed at the store, but honestly, I'm not sure it would have mattered because in a prior visit, they did the same thing with a frosted cookie and I did ask if they could put more frosting on it - not because I wanted extra, but because I wanted what was advertised - and the employee helping me said they couldn't do that because all their ingredients are "carefully apportioned" and they didn't have extra. That same employee was there this time as well. I don't know whether they are just rushing or if this is policy, but it's disappointing because other than that, the service and food is usually good.
I'd still recommend Crumbl in general, and I get stuff there more than I should, but not sure I would recommend this location anymore if they keep doing that.
