Service: 2/5. Much is left to be desired overall on service. You can tell they are new, potentially understaffed, and more than likely over worked. However, I gave them 2/5 on service as they did not have a great process to leave your name on a list with the hostess and several people who made “reservations” were also not on the list. Our suggested wait time, while a suggestion, was off by about 25-30 minutes. Our waiter was extremely over worked and was running around the restaurant and did not bring refills unless asked specifically for. We had to ask for additional tortillas for the fajitas and refills on drinks. We also had to request to get the bill at the end of the evening. Granted we did dine here on Saturday during prime time.

Food: 4/5. This is truly where Tequila Azteca shined. The food was on par if not better than most Mexican restaurants in Vero Beach. This restaurant definitely provides better quality food over a newer Mexican restaurant that recently opened in the Indian River Mall. However, the food might leave some missing the nostalgia of a long time Mexican restaurant in Vero Beach located on US-1. I had the fajitas and while it was more vegetables than meat, everything was well seasoned and cooked excellently. In my opinion, the vegetables could have been more charred. The rice and beans were just okay, nothing special. I also had the taquitos as an app appetizer and they closely resembled flautas at other Mexican restaurants...

This review is for Casa Amigos

I called to place order soup the person answering the call kept asking what did I want. I kept saying I want to order soup, after she kept saying that I asked her did she understand. Well I hung up and drove to restaurant and went inside and ordered. When I ordered the chicken soup I asked her to make sure they put avocado and lime slices. She then said this is what comes in the soup I said okay. I also asked about the chips and salsa, she said yes it will be in order. When she gave me my order I left trusting everything was there. When we sat don’t eat No Salsa No Lime. I called back and she was very curt and short with me. Well you can come get it , I then asked to speak with manager. If line didn’t come with the soup she could have informed me I’d gladly pay for it. However I’ve not visited any Mexican restaurant that didn’t have lime slices. First I’m not going to drive 4 miles to get Salsa and lime, a man finally came to the phone and I told him what happened. He said I’ll speak with her as we want our customers to be satisfied.I couldn’t be satisfied after the situation, he offered no satisfactory response but I’ll talk to her and hope your next visit is good. I don’t like to say never again will I visit this establishment because errors do occur. However I would drive a bit longer for good service and a management team that understands customer service regardless if I order a bowl of soup or a three...

This is a hard one. The restaurant is beautiful & bright! Not loud like in the mail. Chips were delivered fast with salsa. They were warm & the salsa had a nice kick. We ordered cocktails right away, this is where it started to go south for me. I ordered the blood orange margarita and asked to uncharge the tequila from Sauza to Don Julio, I was told no changes unless I had a presidente, that was a bit disheartening, makes you think they are pre-made. I settled on a don julio cocktail with cranberry. Secondly we ordered the tableside guac which wasn't awful, but it wasn't amazing. You could tell the avacados weren't super fresh and we had to add salt. When it came time to order food, initially I wanted tacos, I asked to mix/match and get 1 steak, 1 shrimp (same price) I was told no. I asked if it came with rice, also no, only beans. Okay so I settled on a pork dish (1/2 portion) & my friend had taco salad. It was not really a huge salad that she got considering the price, now my pork. This was the golden star of my meal. So much flavor & tender, the rice and beans were typical, but the portion was large for being a 1/2). I have previously eaten here on takeout having the chicken soup and it was amazing. I will likely order from here again takeout, but unlikely that...

This was just what I needed. I wanted to sit at a table with my laptop and get some work done. Service was good. The server was friendly. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. I started with some chips, salsa and a Macho Margherita. All were as expected. I really enjoyed the Camerones con Tocino (shrimp wrapped in bacon). All in all it was just what I needed. I'd recommend a visit here if your seeking quality Mexican food.

The food was average or below average to me especially once you factor in the price. The service was good and atmosphere is nice but compared to all the other Mexican restaurants that I have been to in Vero Beach and surrounding towns, it was average or below average unfortunately. I have heard good things about the restaurant so was kind of shocked at the experience I had.
