Amazing Grace Restaurant — Restaurant in Vicksburg

This is a quaint little restaurant with tons of love and soul pouring out of that kitchen.

I don't normally write reviews but felt this place needed one. PLEASE DON'T JUDGE THIS RESTAURANT BASED ON MENU PICS

I went in there completely set on shrimp poboy. I ended up getting their daily special, which consisted of pork steak, cabbage, broccoli rice casserole, cornbread and cake; all for $15.

Man oh man was this food so great, I had to ask the cooks come out so I could shake their hands.

I say this without hyperbole or exaggeration; this meal is the best thing I’ve eaten in Vicksburg. The smothered porkchop with rice & gravy, collard greens, stewed okra & tomatoes, with a surprise helping of peach cobbler was all amazing! Plus very affordable

The service is friendly and attentive. You can seat and be served or order at the counter. The parking lot is small and a bit awkward but there ample street parking available off Washington if it’s full.

Go eat here! Can’t wait to try the other...

We left because they didn’t start serving lunch for another half hour but turned around and went back bc we knew we would think about it all day if we didn’t.
