I use to eat here almost everyday, even got to know many of the staff who called me by name when I came in. I never had any issues with my food or service. The reason for my review is I just went there. I went through the drive thru. Obviously a very busy night, Friday about 8pm. I waited through about 7 cars, ordered my food and received it at the drive thru window. I didn't order a lot the whole order was only $5.70. I used my credit card, don't really carry cash anymore. So, I asked for my cc receipt. I was told it was in the bag. I gave her back the bag at which point she looked into it herself and saw no receipt. I don't believe the cashier knew how to recall a receipt as she played around with the cash register a while then finally went to get someone else. She also seemed flustered raising her voice even though the window was closed. The person she called finally gave me a receipt and I pulled up as I felt bad holding up the line that long. Wouldn't you know she gave me a receipt from somebody else with a total of $16.47 and a cc of 300. I would not have been a but, however my husband is a stickler for receipts whenever we purchase anything. I promptly parked my car and went inside. I went up to the cashier and told her I was given the wrong receipt. Unfortunately she was taking someone's order which they were very upset that I jumped the line. I guess I could have got back in line in the drive thru waited till I got to the window again. I could have stood at the back of the line on the inside. Either way I was put in an unfortunate position. The ladies in the drive thru started laughing when the manager walked over to them trying to retrieve my receipt. I felt this was very unprofessional, something so simple like a receipt. I wouldn't have pushed but I've had problems with my cc in the past, stolen, compromised bogus charges so I always ask for my cc receipt. I really enjoyed this Taco Bell there food has always been good. Unfortunately this customer service experience has left me at a loss. I won't be able to bring myself to go back there when they treat a customer the way I was treated, and put me in a position to aggravate other customers....all for a simple...
Read moreI visited our Vicksburg, Ms location the other day and I found out that the inside dining was once again available. So I decided to go ahead and go in, me and my lady went inside and made our order at your kiosk which was actually a really good experience but once we went to sit down that's a whole other experience. I'm not 100% sure what the staff was thinking and or doing but the one thing I can say is that staff training probably needs to happen now more than ever seeing that the dining area is once again open. The floors were sticky, the floors were dirty and the tables had food on them and not only that one of the workers at this location decided to sit on the actual counter from which people come in to order and pick-up their food (this same employee was also on her phone touching it while preparing people's food, didn't notice this until leaving.)
There was a elderly couple that came in right after we did and they ordered at the same kiosk, it looked like they didn't have much of an issue but when it came time for them to get their cups/food the workers consistently walked right by them as if they weren't there. I even noticed this when I ordered and I went to pick up my food. Everyone that was behind the counter opted to ignore me until I actually had to wave my hand in the air and say excuse me can I get some sauce and can I get a spoon or fork for my food.
I will say the food was good, so the quality of the food is spot-on but the problem with this location is the actual workers and how they behave, greet and meet the customers as the customers enter the establishment is the issue. The counter workers are the face of Taco Bell whenever customer walks through the door. I don't understand how they don't know and understand this but this more than likely needs to be reiterated to him so that everyone who decides to come in can feel welcome within the establishment.
And lastly, if your in restaurant dining is happening maybe not have employees parking in the handicap spaces directly in front of the restaurant doors would be a good thing for those who actually need to utilize those spaces.
And if management needs photos they can be provided...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. My order cost much more here than at other Taco Bells that have much better service, accuracy, presentation, and speed! The burrito came out and was so messy I had to use my napkins to eat it so I didn't get myself messy. Same with the chalupa, which had sauce all over, and a barely average amount of cheese, which I paid extra for. The tortilla was hard on the burrito, and the shell was crusty and cracked on the chalupa. When she asked if I wanted sauce, I said "Yes, just one hot sauce, please." I got FIVE mild sauces, and had to ask for the hot sauce and give her back the other. I paid $8.94 including tax for the same items that I would have paid $5.88 for at the Clinton, MS Taco Bell...AND their GREAT service in Clinton is only rivaled by the one in Natchez, MS! I love Taco Bell food, but it takes me being very hungry and long lines elsewhere for me to go to Vicksburg Taco Bell, which is why I haven't been there in a while. I had issues the last time I went, and never heard a thing back here. Their customer service and sense of care/urgency is non-existent. I would have gone back and gotten a refund had I not been so hungry. I didn't even eat my chalupa, it was...
