The food is super delicious (5 stars) and we would love to go back. However we had a bad experience the first time. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait which was fine, they took our names (it was just the two of us) and we were willing to wait, but then almost an hour later no one had called our name, so we went inside to ask. They told us that they were no longer seating people, what?!!? So we had waited for nothing and no one bothered to come out and inform us of this news. So we asked them why they took our names in the first place, and make us wait so long only to turn us away. They argued that the kitchen really needed a break.... At this point we were quite upset and rightly so. Especially since we had driven over the pass to eat here. Thankfully another server, (perhaps the supervisor/manager?) overheard the conversation and she was nice enough to figure it out and seat us. I'm all for supporting local businesses, and I realize there's a shortage of staff (I am 1 of 2 people left in my entire department at my own workplace, so I know all about it), but don't act all sketchy and make excuses to turn people away AFTER you've taken their names and made them wait so long. That isn't good business ethics. Hopefully this was just a one off thing. Because we have loved their other eatery "Streetfood" since they first opened, and we hope to go to Butter a few more times before we move away.

When we arrived we wanted to love this place based on the reviews. Upon arrival there was a man seated AND being served outside with coffee and food and the inside was full. We asked about sitting outside as the other patron was. The host asked another woman who proceeded to talk to him and not make eye contact with us and she responded saying “they would have to reconfigure servers and leave the door open and it would be too cold.” So were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We waited in our car just outside the door and not even 5-10 minutes later a family of 3 and a family of 2 were seated outside with coffee and menus. We came back in to ask why they were seated ahead of us and outdoors when we were told we couldn’t and the response was they were going to text us soon. Not a great feeling. They attempted to take our order first. One of us needed egg whites because they had an intolerance to yolk. They refused because their chef is unable to separate the yolk from the whites.. which we found strange. The food was okay at best. Nothing special and not really worth the money in our opinion.. but perhaps the lack of options in the area make it “the best”. To be clear it wasn’t bad. Just not amazing and their oversight with treating patrons fairly was just not an amazing feeling.

Cute little local restaurant. Seated right away. It was raining so outdoor seating wasn’t an option today. Inside is really small, only 9-10 various size tables. Love the table decor. Our waitress, Tracy was nice and friendly. Food came out quick, less then 10 minutes after ordering. We had the egg muffin sandwich with hash browns and the biscuit with poblano sausage that came with eggs and hash browns. Everything was cooked well. Muffin was grilled with a slight crisp and bacon was a nice thick slice. Eggs were fluffy. The poblano sausage was delicious and recommend trying it. The biscuit was thick and dense. Menu is limited choices but it’s only breakfast and brunch items. They have a little pastries also to choose from by the front counter. Wouldn’t recommend a group bigger than 4 or 5 unless you sit outside. Parking is street parking but plenty of space for it. They have their own habanero hot sauce that has a little kick. And T-shirts to purchase with their logo on it.

Food was good but the service was HORRIBLE!! It took the waitress 20 min just to bring our drinks and still managed to forget to bring coffee for my brother-in-law after waiting another 10 mins he had to go to the counter and ask for a cup of coffee which turned into another ridiculous situation. We then waited for over an hour before our meals were served!! We asked multiple times when our meals would be served and we were given multiple excuses. When we did receive our food an hour plus later and has finished eating there was lots of confusion over the separate bill's and the waitress was very rude and made some very unprofessional comments. The manager/owner came over to our table after the waitress had behaved very badly and we expressed our frustrations with the whole situation. She apologized for the waitress and told us that due to the busy day they had to stop seating customer's and stopped cooking meals until they were caught up with previous orders!! Mean while not one time were we informed of what was going on with the delay or even given the option to continue waiting for our food or to pay for our drinks and leave. The manager/owner apologized again and said she was sorry that it just happened to turn into "the perfect storm" for our party!! Not once did she offer a discount or try to do something to make amends for the horrible service we were given, we were simple given an apology that really was meaningless and insincere. Everyone in our group commented that none of us would ever return to this establishment due to the horrible service we received in spite of the food being fairly good or would we ever recommend this...

Visited a friend out in Victor. Place looked good so we wanted to try it out. We put our name in for a table of (6) and were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. After that time had passed we went in and saw that next to our name it now said 30-45 minutes! Still we were OK with it not a huge deal because its a small place and we wanted to try the food. The infuriating part is that we were waiting in our car and we saw multiple large groups of 5 or 6 leave and multiple small groups of 2 or 3 leave so they were turning over tables yet we still NEVER GOT A CALL OR TEXT! After an hour and a half I decided to call and spoke to a women. I explained to her we were originally told 15 minutes for table of (6) and its now been an hour and a half to which she replied "I have not told anyone 15 minutes" to which I replied that is what we were told. I then asked about a table and she said they have not had a big enough table available for 6??? What does that even mean we saw multiple turnover of tables with our own eyes is this not a first come first serve place? They literally skipped over our reservation to serve other smaller tables who were waiting. Frustrated I said "Thanks" and hung up. We went somewhere else to eat obviously but for laughs we decided to call back at the 2 hr mark to which there was no answer. Tried again at the 2.5 hr mark asking for an update on our table the womens response? "Oh we took that name off the list" WHATTTT?? Not sure what type of place theyre running here but avoid it. They are a joke. Ruined our morning. Super...
