What do you expect? It’s a McDonald’s. Food is hit and miss. Usually hot but at least a quarter of the time the fries are undercooked and cold. Some absolutely amazing service. Some absolutely atrocious service.
I loved it when the window worker threw a fit because she was sending everyone to a parking spot and running the poor food runner ragged because almost as soon as the customer would park, the food runner was headed out the door to hand them their order, and I refused to move and insisted on waiting the 60 seconds at the window to be handed my food. (I admit to this jerk move and would’ve moved if I truly had to wait for my food to cook). Then as I was leaving, magically, everyone after me didn’t need to park because their food was ready at the window. (The window worker was literally just handing out drinks that someone else was filling and then making everyone park so someone else handed over the food. She was just being bossy and lazy for no reason). All of that parking is an accident waiting to happen and potentially a liability for the store. I refused because I didn’t want to be hit by someone else squeezing into the spot next to me or someone circling the building to park or reach drive-through. Employees should be taught those windows aren’t sound proof. Haha.
Always order Bug-Mac, no cheese. 90-10 if I...
Read moreThis McDonald’s is horrible.. after ordering the food on the McDonald’s app we went to our normal McDonald’s which is on Houston Hwy.. which they are always amazing there.. but they are doing some construction work so it is closed.. the next McDonald’s was this one on Navarro, so my husband went there.. there was no parking available in the pick up and go spots ( even though those people weren’t picking up orders) so he went inside where it was so packed and the floor was wet and extremely slippery or sticky as if they just mopped with leftover soda water. It takes forever for the food and when it comes out.. it is cold and raw (English muffin not even toasted.. eww) .. the frappe was made first and sat there for ten minutes while waiting for the food to be ready so it was so watery it might as well have been an iced latte.. also I ordered a large and it looked like they made a medium and just put it in a large cup.. no where near the top.. so the only hot thing was the hash browns.. but we’re so full of grease that is soaked all the napkins in the bag and covered the wrappers of the breakfast sandwich with a disturbing amount of grease.. I don’t get fast food often and this is another example of why I don’t.. I will never go to that...
Read moreI had thought this location had a play place, and was at first disappointed when I saw it didn't. Then we saw the area that had games and a wall monitor to play on. In the corner, was a table lit with colored lights from underneath. My son and older nephew immediately started playing the games on the wall, while my sister and my younger nephew sat with me at the lit table. My younger nephew is very autistic. I thought he would enjoy the lights. I had no idea how interactive it would be! The lights changed color, not just on their own, but by moving your hand over the surface. I don't have the words to explain how delighted this made my young nephew. Where I had at first felt bad for the three boys at not having the play place, they ended up having even more fun here! I was so impressed I went to the register to compliment the manager. He then came to our table with free small ice creams and toys for the boys! We were so thankful, but my young nephew also has a hard time with really hot or cold items and does not eat ice cream. The manager, Christopher, left and came back again with a Cinnamon Roll for him! I was completely amazed at the level of kindness and customer service provided to us! I don't have enough words to...
