Horrible taco Tuesday, staff, rude, and inconsiderate disrespectful as the entire place empty as I’m sitting at the bar, they decide to put people in the booth behind me. OK cool, but they didn’t stop there. They moved an entire table behind me basically trapped me as more people as in the two gentlemen, who were originally sitting there family were coming to this group, clearly they could’ve put them across the empty restaurant. Needless to say I had to move from my seat to another I didn’t even want to be there at that point anymore. I could’ve ordered more however I was not spending anymore money in a place that disregards customers for other customers, and yes, that’s how I feel. The entire place was practically empty. They had no reason to put these people behind me, and then try to rush me out of there will never go there again. So the overall service before they put these people behind me ….. Tacos were great, but that was about it because the waitress who made my drink right in front of me as I’m not a big time drinker, but warm Clamato juice and beer doesn’t make a Michelada because that’s all she did to my drink. Basically had to ask for Chamoy and lime as given with an attitude in a long time after asking for it, I also could’ve done without her attitude. Shame on you a simple order of tacos and a drink was so hard as she makes a horrible drink like that and then has the nerve to spill it all over the bar as she’s giving it to me and slaps the plate of tacos in front of me as if I am inconveniencing her, not like she was waiting on anybody else because the place was practically empty still I’m thinking now I know why very very rude people…. And yes, as I am done after I’ve moved to another seat and finished and paid for my bill $40 for two plates to Tacos in two drinks for me and my friend I stated I will never be back to this place again and they looked at me like why? you should know why horrible, horrible horrible service I’ll be giving my money to someone who puts pride in a place they work at and pride in taking orders and having a great customer service goes a long way! Read moreJust dropped in for a late afternoon lunch date.
We tried chips and salsa, ordered tableside guacamole, had tortilla soup and shared a wet bean burrito with rice and beans on the plate. One Horchata 2 Waters.
Initial service was attentive. Chips were ok, salsa was excellent, table side guacamole also was excellent. The water tasted clean and the Horchata was perfect.
Tortilla soup had a red vegetable beef base, was served luke warm, would have been greatly improved if served hot, with chicken meat, more cheese on top and a thick slice of avocado.
We split one bean burrito combo plate. It was served with red sauce and a hint of cheese inside. Beans tasted clean, but lacked any significant flavor. Burrito was too dry for a wet order. Spanish Rice had good consistency, texture and color flavor was light.
Service experience slipped to mediocre. Didn't leave straws, didn't offer or give napkins, didn't keep up with water cups, failed to check on food experience, didn't offer alcoholic beverages, didn't offer desserts.
Soup and combo plate were both luke warm, the restaurant was not busy so they didn't sit out getting cold once made. My only conclusion is that the soup, beans and the rice must have been served from a premade batch in cold storage and then microwaved.
One Horchata One guacamole appetizer Two bowls of soup One bean burrito, wet, with rice and beans combo plate.
$33.10
They charged us $33.10 for what? The food cost on this is minimal; yet they skimped on paper goods, putting meat in the soup, avacado, sweet rice, sour cream, colorado sauce, cheese and good service. This just comes off greedy and careless.
There are dozens and dozens of Mexican restaurants in the area that are willing to invest in the quality of food that is served. We will not be back to Miguel's after today's...
