Winchell's — Restaurant in Victorville

If I could give this place a 3.5 rating I would. I fully believe this is better than what me and my husband experienced today because I can tell that there is more to this place than what we saw and experienced when we came here today. The reason it is 3 stars is because they didn't have almost half the menu, if not just a little bit more.

A few locals came here while we were ordering and while we were eating and every single one of them said the same thing: "This place is great" and I truly believe that they are better than what we experienced.

Food was good, but I really wish we were able to try more of what we wanted that they didn't have available.

All in all, this place was good and I want to try them again but I really need to try to come at a different time.

The bacon egg and cheese bagel was delicious. Their donuts were great. And the prices compared to most are absolutely unbeatable for what they had available.

I was driving home from an appointment yesterday afternoon , and I saw the Winchell’s Donut signage. Suddenly, memories of being a child in the 70’s and going to the Winchells in the town that I grew up flooded back to me. I decided to stop in to see if the donuts were as I remembered from my childhood. The donuts were just as I remembered, and the woman behind the counter was extremely nice. I must have arrived at the right time since she gave me a free donut. A nice shop. No complaints....

Location is a little out of the way in an unusual location. The parking stinks but when you go in the staff, who I think are also the owners, are happy and service your needs quickly. But God forbid you ask for anything extra, theyre whole demeanor changes. I like 10 Splenda with my large coffee so I asked, the cashier told me to get the regular sugar...I said I dont use regular sugar...she gave me 8 Splenda...I asked for more...she leered at me as she gave the...
