Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Vienna Charter Township

Today I had an issue with my order. I called up around 3 and the lady the answered the phone was very helpful and kind. I came back around 9 to receive my remake. Kaylee was the one that helped me out and her and the other worker Jackayla made my order PERFECT for the remake. The smoothie I was given was EXACTLY how I wanted. The flavor was on point, perfectly blended, and perfect thickness. I always have problems with my smoothies being right, but the way Kaylee made it was absolutely perfect. Jackayla remade my quesadilla and it was like an advertisement. It looked just as good as it tasted! The Santa Fe is definitely my favorite, but the way she made it today was mouthwatering. I’ll definitely look out to see those two when I come back in the future....

Can someone explain to me why the staff ask me if I want to tip them? What exactly am I tipping for? I pulled through the drive thru, someone took my order, they swiped my card at the window, and asked if I wanted to tip. I'm not against tipping if people go above and beyond in some way, but I think it's very tacky to ask for a tip. Would your server at a restaurant say "Can I have a tip please?" To top it off, she forgot my spoon, so I have to wait 30 min to eat my jalapeño corn, but she got a 10% tip regardless. Does the tip go to the employee or does it go to Tropical Smoothie? Hoping someone can answer...
