For the 4th time in two weeks the order in the drive thru was wrong. Most of the time we don't even complain.Today was an exception. They handed out the drinks, they were missing two. Practically thru the bag at us. The food in bag looked like rubish the way it was wrapped. One sandwich was missing one sandwich was wrong. I went in to see the manager for refund. "NOT OUR POLICY." We can fix this "so just one sandwich is wrong?" "No, one is wrong, one is missing and the drinks were wrong. I rather just get a refund because today I'm in a hurry." Do you have a receipt? "We didn't receive one. We just came through your drive thru." So both managers went to the back to sort it out, while the employee who had first greeted me suggested, " if you're not happy there is another McDonald's in the traffic circle or better yet Taco bell is across the road." Bewildered I asked, " are you saying you don't want my business or I should leave?" " No I'm just giving you some options." At this point both managers come back from the drive thru with the ticket. Again I ask for a refund $17.91. "We can fix the order if you like but we don't give refunds."
Now I'm just plain offended and backing away from the counter heading for the door; as I am saying, " like I said Im late for work I don't have time but since it's been suggested by your employee we will take our business elsewhere. But feel free to put our $17.91 in the Ronald McDonald House Fund.
RT. 50 McDonald's knows us by name we have been going there for years. They always know who we are at the speaker box, our food is always hot neatly wrapped and we get that with a smile. At the window they ask how the family is doing. There has never been any issues with our orders in over 15 years. So options? Thanks Rt. 50 for being thier.
As for Vienna who we have been weekly daily customers of for the last 5 years, as for your suggestion we opt out; of horrible service, horrible food and horrible management. We will be spending our money at Rt. 50 McDonald's...
Read morei thought the first bad experience i had was simply an off day but i’ve now realized how pathetic and terrible this location has become. EVERY time i’ve ordered the last 5-6 times i’ve gone through the drive through, something has been wrong or made incorrectly/awfully. the last time i came through i simply ordered a big mac and fries, and received a big mac with a rock hard cold bun, cold patty, and probably 4x too much lettuce, so much that it made it impossible to eat and ruined the entire burger. the fries were also cold and soggy. the time before that i ordered a caramel frappe and was told to pull up for whatever reason, when this was all i ordered. i then witnessed a worker carry out my frappe WITH a very obvious hole in the side of it as it was leaking and poured onto the side of my car and inside my car as he handed it to me. The last few times i’ve came i’ve only gotten a mcchicken with just ketchup, and every time there’s been probably double or triple the amount of ketchup needed, sprayed all over the wrapper and bag. i also never receive any sauces asked for. get ur...
Read moreI found their concern about customers lacking. I arrived at 10:10AM and waited on a long drive thru line to order breakfast sandwiches. Seeing that the long line was moving slowly I pulled over and attempted to order inside but the doors were locked so I returned to the long drive thru line. I placed my order for breakfast sandwiches at 10:30 but was told the breakfast kitchen was closed. I explained the long wait caused by their slow service and lack of counter service and demanded that my order be honored or I wasn’t moving. Eventually a manager authorized my order and even though it took another 20 minutes to get my ‘fast food’ I waited in a designated parking spot. McDonald’s might consider doing all day breakfast as they’ve done in the past or at least offer breakfast until 11:00 especially on weekends. Give your frontline staff some latitude regarding cutoff times to accommodate customers stuck on long lines. Finally you can phase out breakfast stations over a one hour period rather than absolute...
