Molly's Yogurt & Mitchell's Gelato — Restaurant in Vienna

I rarely leave poor reviews, but couldn't not do it for this place.

Went there with the family for dessert, were excited for some gelato. The prices were okay, nothing outrageous. 5.50 for 3 scoops, and 1.50 for a waffle bowl. Not bad.

We were expecting a decent amount of ice cream from 3 scoops, the guy that was there, said he's not the owner and doesn't know anything, served 3 tablespoon sized scoops and said that was the portion size. Not even kidding, 3 tablespoon sized scoops. There was more waffle than ice cream.

I don't know if that's the norm, but it's the most ridiculous portion of ice cream we've ever gotten.

The guy was totally weird and extremely unlikeable.

The flavors were interesting, but the experience was terrible!!!

Would totally come back if this was not the norm, because you don't normally see...

Delicious yogurt - the real thing not loaded with sugar. The original yogurt is a bit tart and the Mango has a subtle sweetness, the Swirl is the best of both worlds and balances out the flavor.

The fruits are really a hit or miss. A couple of times, the strawberries, raspberries, and chunks of mango were ripe and tasty while other times the blueberries were tangy and sour while the mango was under ripe.

While the home made sugar cone looks promising, it's crumbly and tastes like a soft pizzelle waffle cookie. It lacks the crispy texture of a good waffle cone and doesn't elevate the flavor of the yogurt. Skip the cone and just for the cup!
