Meadow Lane Park — Attraction in Vienna

My granddaughter loves playing here.! The park is fenced in on three sides to keep little ones extra safe as they explore. Big shade trees, green grass and plenty of space to run around. Mulched areas to keep it playable in highly used areas and wet weather.

The merry-go-round is a special treat. Kids of all ages have fun spinning it and riding it. Lots of slides, swings and a big sandbox to share.

The bathrooms are well maintained by the Town of Vienna. Right now the water fountains are shut off for public prevention of COVID transmission.

A covered pavilion is near the entrance that can be reserved through the town for special events (we've seen lots of kid's birthdays unfold here.)

There are barbeque grills available for cooking outdoors, and several ample picnic tables.

Right next to the playground is a raised area with a fenced-in tennis court and a another fenced in basketball court. Beyond that is a big area with a baseball field and lots of grassy...

I have been to the park three times and enjoyed the park very much. There’s a baseball field on the top, basketball court below the field, tennis courts next, and the children’s playground on the bottom. There are multiple swings for different age kids, slides and climbing equipments , sandbox with variety of toys for the young children. There are covered picnic tables for small parties, and basic grills for grilling. Bathrooms and water fountains are available. My favorite part of the park is that the park is fenced in, and the playground is covered by mature trees with lots of benches for the parents to sit and watch their children play. A great little local park. I call this the place where old toys go to die. There are many kid bikes, cars, and toys that are donated to the park. They all function to a degree. They enjoy love from the people they were intended for just a little longer before they are gone forever. The playground also has a merry go round (I think that is what it is called). I like it because it isn't as common at playgrounds. During the summer the park is usually under some shade so it is doable. There is a nice area with shade that you can host parties and...
