We had a bad experience today. I hate saying it, because until today I have sung this restaurant's praises. We were a party of 6 adults and four children for mothers day breakfast. We waited 30 minutes to get a table, another 20 minutes before the server came by to see what we wanted for drinks. No one at the table liked the coffee..way too bitter. About 25 minutes after bringing the coffee she took our orders. The food never came while multiple tables of people who came in well after us had gotten their food and left already. She came to check on us once after about 30 minutes and she never came back. So, after 2 hours, we left. As we walked out, they said our food was ready.. We saw no food. My daughter is pregnant, she had a small baby, my son had 3 young children with him and my daughter-in-law, etc.. I was a big fan of this place, specifically of the Melbourne restaurant. The owner has been great in the past, but today all of felt utterly disregarded. Oh yeh, another woman came to the table to take one of the high chairs, asked if we were using it?? My son had been holding his youngest son on his lap because the boy was restless, especially after the long wait. Had the food actually been served, how did she think my son was going to eat?? I don't like rants, but this is a bad way to treat people. This place lost some real fans today. I mean, no one came by once to even explain why we were still waiting after nearly two hours. I have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but not anymore. Btw, my daughter said they have no place is the womens bathroom for...
Read moreTook the family here for brunch on Valentine’s Day since we were in the area (we typically go to the Downtown Melbourne location, which we still highly recommend). Anyhow, I discovered today that my family and I have magical powers, we’re invisible! That’s right, the location had two tables seated out of their probably 20 tables inside the restaurant. We placed our order for a family of four, quite a large order because when you’re eating crepes, it takes quite a few to fill up your typical American, am I right? Anyway, we got some drinks and managed to keep our toddler and newborn pacified for almost an hour before they started to lose their minds because their food hadn’t arrived yet. The server came out, empty-handed, only to tell us that our order got lost in the kitchen. There were two people working in the kitchen and one server. And a total of five customers at this point. Needless to say, we had invested enough time and told them not to worry about it. As we’re packing up the kids, the server returns. I assumed it was to apologize again for their error. Nah, she presented us a bill for the drinks we sipped on while waiting for our non-existent food for almost an hour. Lol, yeah, thats not going to happen. How do you not realize your customers don’t have food for that long? We left, obviously, and went somewhere with exceptional customer service, as always, thank you Chick-Fil-A, #GOAT. Just make sure they’re actually making your food if...
Read moreWe stopped by around 9 AM, and to my surprise, the place was completely empty—which honestly made me a little nervous at first. But we decided to give it a shot anyway… and I’m so glad we did!
Right from the start, we were greeted with a warm smile from our server. The restaurant was spotless, spacious, and it was charming French. There’s a cozy bar area, plus plenty of booths and tables for seating.
I ordered The Frenchie, which comes with two eggs, your choice of a crêpe or French toast (I went with the crêpe—no regrets!), homemade jam, fresh fruit and a meat option: sausage links, bacon, turkey bacon, or a meatless sausage patty. I also got an iced coffee, which hit the spot.
My husband went with the breakfast sandwich, which came with perfectly seasoned fries. You can also upgrade to truffle fries if you’re feeling fancy.
Everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Truly, not a single bite disappointed.
I was honestly shocked that such good food didn’t have a full house—but shortly after we sat down, more customers started to arrive. It might just be one of those brunch spots that fills up closer to 10 AM. Plus, it’s a bit tucked away in a shopping plaza, so maybe it hasn’t been fully discovered yet.
Overall: Vibes: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 10/10
🌟 Chef’s kiss! This spot is a true hidden gem. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a try. You won’t be...
