LOL.
It's hard to find a positive thing to say about mochinut.
Well the only positive thing I can say is that they have efficient online marketing. The downside is that they are so inefficient at everything else. They can't handle the amount of customers that come in.
Almost always 50% + of the menu is either missing, sold out, or just don't want to make it because they have been poorly trained and know they can't make it well.
I've had to return food because it's was literally disgusting. I love boba and it was the worst I've ever had. From the taste to the texture it was a miss on every level.
I'm not sure this place will make it through 2024; if they do its because of stubbornness not returning customers.
While they have an obscene amount of employees most of them stand around doing nothing. No greeting. No helping. No taking orders. No telling you about the menu or what they're out of. Everything is do it yourself and then they force you to tip.
Which you have to figure out how to exit the tip part.
Everyone is very inexperienced and young proboably most of their first jobs and unfortunately without proper leadership and management they wont be able to improve.
Anyone with common sense could figure out how to make the business successful within 30 minutes of being in there. So the manager must not be very bright.
The 3rd time I went there they had nothing but boba LMAO
And that was already disgusting from the previous time so we left.
Overpriced.
Expect a very long wait for food. 20-30 minutes.
You've probably seen thier hours and have been like "oh weird"
Yeah because they could never be open for lunch time because they can not handle a rush like that. Also because they can't get thier employs to wake up to get there on time based on who they've hired.
But then you see the close time and it's 7. Well you dont have to worry about trying make it there in time before close. They are usually out of most food by 4.
They should know by now to prep enough food but they just don't care.
So show up from 1-4pm.
If you manage to enjoy something you probably have low standards or stupid money to throw away but enjoy mochinut while it lasts because it won't be...
Read moreFirst visit was on Monday the 20th of Jan. (Food was great) We had The Hot Cheeto Corn dog with Mozzarella (The Best one), The Potato corndog (Basic) & the Mexican Street Corn-Corndog (was really good). Also ordered two Boba drinks which were alright. Finally we had the Churro Donut (was amazing).
The customer service we had was by far really bad. Short blond with complete attitude was behind the counter. We walked in, never been here before and she looked at us and walked to the back. Never greeted us or even said ,” Hello.”
We told her it was our first time here and she just looked at us. We placed our order and sat down. She gave us our donut and we ate it. The donut was on fire. Amazing.
We were sitting there for like 20-25mins and noticed she was just standing behind the register looking at us. One of the people in my party saw our whole order just sitting at the end of the counter toward the entrance of the establishment.
We looked at her and she just stood there all cryptic like. We got up and I asked is this our order, she didn’t say anything and continue to look at us.
We left and ate our order in the car cause we obviously didn’t feel welcomed.
Food and atmosphere was outstanding the employee was the only problem.
Great food and highly recommend.
Update As of Tuesday Jan 21st. We went back to give Mochinut of Melbourne another shot.
Complete polar opposite of the interaction we had yesterday. Walked in and was automatically greeted by a happy employee who asked me if I had ever been there before.
Employee told me what he recommended. He was very informative, friendly and professional. He also informed me of all of the dipping sauces they had which we were never told about the previous day. All the employees were in a uniforms type appearance.
I ordered (2) Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Dogs and (1) Cool Range Corndog. Good came out super fast. One of the employees also put tape on the carry out box so the top wouldn’t come...
Read moreVisited this location at about 5pm on Tuesday. It was fairly busy…but the line seemed to move steadily. The setup for ordering doesn’t seem efficient as you wait in line while the 3 employees behind the counter await an order to fill. Once you get to the kiosk you select your order which was easy enough. Be aware, upon order completion and tapping your card, it will prompt a tip. It defaults to 15% and you have to select custom if you want to enter anything less. My opinion is that I don’t feel the need to tip when I’m placing my own order and checking out/paying on my own. That part is totally self service. The employee simply places my donuts in the box and hands them to me. Nothing extra, so I chose not to tip. I ordered a dozen donuts and the hot Cheetos mozzarella stick as well as the brown sugar boba. The boba was fine - comes in a nice sealed can. The donuts were ok, nothing spectacular -for the crazy high price of $34.00. And they don’t have all the flavors as seen online. Only 7 available flavors when we were there. The hot Cheetos mozzarella was not very good. The Cheetos taste fine but the cheese and breading was actually difficult to enjoy. The flavor was no good to me, but I’m sure someone likes it. It’s very messy and quite large. And the stick doesn’t stay firmly in it so you’re gonna need a fork or just eat it outside.
Also the hours are unusual for a donut place and the phone number that shows online does not ring in. It just says it’s not set up with voicemail yet or something to...
