Loved the decor and the atmosphere inside. I can't speak for the cocktails or the spritzer type mead drinks, but the standard (hah) meads were overwhelmingly sweet in my opinion. They tasted fairly young for the most part which I think is trying to be masked by the sweetness. There were some nice flavors underneath, I just wish they could stand out a bit instead of competing with the sugar. The blueberry crust and the strawberry/marshmallow mead were two that stood out to me.

I'd love to see their mead branch out, some dry, some more sour, but all of them stand firmly in the "sweet" to "very sweet" range. I also wish they had flights, though they had 1 oz pours of many of the meads.

First off let’s about Standard, one of my favorite meaderies right. Their still meads are amazing and so well balance. Their staff is awesome and passionate about what they do rather you meet them at Standard taproom or a festival you see them having a blast.

The tap room itself, very nice on the inside some what small inside but adds to the experience and feel I get as a place to come fine liquid and not just a drinking whole.
