Wow! What a fantastic experience my family had dining here last weekend. It was our first time, but it will definitely not be the last. I knew it was going to be an amazing meal from the minute I walked in, and it felt like I had entered an Italian grandmother's house. The space has that nostalgic family feel, and this is emphasized by the staff who make you feel at home from the beginning. It is a warm and inviting place where the time flies without you realizing. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and always there right when you needed something. They worked together seamlessly with a variety of people filling water glasses, delivering food, offering more bread, and removing dishes as they were emptied. The service was top-notch. The food was equally as incredible from the bread and appetizers to the salads, entrees, and desserts. Each time I tried something new, I was amazed at how delicious it all was. Fresh, warm bread and butter starts the meal off while you peruse the menu. My dining companions raved about the calamari and proclaimed it incredibly fresh and some of the best they had anywhere. I sampled the stuffed mushrooms and could easily have ordered a whole plate for myself if I thought I had room. Salads come with the entrees; the blue cheese on mine was definitely homemade and tasted great. We each ordered different entrees, and I sampled a few. The chicken parmesan was tied for my favorite of the night. It was thin, which I love and seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their tomato sauce is excellent; I used some of the remaining bread to scoop up more of it. The other entree tied for my favorite was the gnocchi; also in the tomato sauce and also sooo good! Favorite dessert would be the cannoli. The filling was whipped and light, which is my preference over the heavier ones you often find. I cannot encourage you enough to visit and try this place for yourself. You won't be disappointed! Highly recommend.

Second time here. Excellent food. My husband loves the tortellini bolognese. This time, I had the lobster special. The lobster was excellent… tender, juicy. The mussels were a bit overcooked, but they weren’t the star of the dish anyways. My dad had the soft shell crab special, which he said was a bit soggy (too much sauce) and “not that soft.” But he did finish it all. Service was attentive and timely. Very crowded (and hence a bit loud) in the dining room, but it was Father’s Day. When not fully packed, it’s definitely noticeable because there is less noise. Very good all around. 8.5 out of 10.

Neighborhood gem. Consistently good. Fresh seafood and outstanding steaks. Super friendly staff. We go here regularly. They are not trying to be trendy or chic, only wholesome and delicious. The decor is a bit dated, but the food and service make it always worth a visit.

Last night, 11/10/23, we decided to give this place a try and we were extremely pleased. Salads were made with fresh ingredients and the house dressing was a tasty Italian vinaigrette.

Julie had an order of baked ziti. The sauce was flavorly flawless. It had a robust and sweet palatableness.

I opted for the rib eye steak special which was accompanied by corn on the half-cob and a portion of mashed potatoes. It came with a $44 price tag, a bit pricey, but the steak was mammoth-sized. It was extremely tasty, though the marinade was a little high in saltiness. The medium rare presentation was cooked to perfection. The corn was fresh and buttery. The mashed potatoes were a disappointment. They tasted old, not made from scratch, and while parts of it were hot, some were lukewarm.

For dessert, we shared a slice of chocolate mousse cake, which was a captivating confection. It was very rich and satisfying for those with sweet teeth.

The cappuccino was made too strongly. I drink Café Bustelo daily, so I have a genuine appreciation for strong coffee, but this cappuccino tasted bitter and undrinkable. Was it possible I received espresso instead?

Our server was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the menu, but I believe he was taking on too many tables. Another server may have been easier to handle this Friday night crowd.

Bathroom definitely could use an update.

Another item worth mentioning is, this place only takes reservations by phone and does not use applications like OPEN TABLE.

Wholistically, the experience was enjoyable and this place has the capability of earning 5 stars, with a few refinements.

We will...

I was traveling on business for 10 days, 400 mi from home, and I am of Italian descent. I craved some good Italian food. Boy....did I find a FABULOUS place!! My sever, Guy, was very gracious, upbeat, and attentive. being alone, I ate in the bar area. The atmosphere was friendly, and several local patrons shared their opinons of the food with me, with rave reviews. One gentleman said "if you don't like, I'll pay for it!". I ordered swordfish w/ a very lite marinara sauce and a side of linguine. OMG! heavenly sent. before leaving for home a week later, I drove an additional 25 miles to get back here for dinner one last time. Broiled Red Snapper stuffed with crab meat and side of pasta. Outstanding. If you appreciatte Italian food, and the casual, friendly atomosphere that becomes of it........make this your destination. If this place were home (Rochester, NY) I'd be there 3 times a week. ...
