Looking for a place that's not busy for noon lunch? This is the place! (though for good reason)

There's typically only one "sandwich artist" sleep-- er, working. Take your time to gently rouse them from their midday slumber in the back, lest they'll become more cantankerous with you at every step in your order. If something is missing from for order, no problem! They'll throw it across the counter to you with a pleasant grumble.

Eating "fresh" here is also in question. The Italian bread seemed rather tough for something baked fresh daily.

The store generally doesn't present well from a number of points, but given the traffic, it's not hard to understand why.

If you're really set on Subway, there's a location on Holy Hill Rd, roughly a mile north. Not world class, but a far cry better. Otherwise, there's a Cousin's Subs, also up at Holy Hill Rd that does seem to have it together for lunch.

I've been here enough times to recognize this is not an aberration, but normal. And recently only tried it again because of road work... it hasn't changed. If the owner isn't going to put in the effort to make the store functional, attractive (and profitable) it might be time to sell to someone who will...

Employee was in back upon arrival during lunch hour and after coming forward to the counter he waited a good 45sec before addressing me as the customer. He then seem very annoyed that I was there. Also in all of the times I’ve gone to subway sauce has been applied after roasting or I’m at least asked on preference, not the case in this experience, wayy too much sauce added to the sandwich which to my surprise when I got home was the wrong sauce (not what I asked for) thereby making me throw the sandwich out upon discovering it at home. I’ve gone to this subway for years and always enjoyed the food and every experience. Very nice employees..... until today 3/23/21. The man working behind the counter was very nasty in every occurrence.
