Unfortunately I had a pretty poor experience here. I was looking forward to trying it since I've never been here, and the pictures looked good. All I ordered was the basic cinnamon roll, and I was in a group of 4 other people.
First of all, it took about 15-20 minutes for them to prepare 5 cinnamon rolls, so that was a bit irritating. I was under the impression this was more of a "Crumbl" type of dessert shop where the cinnamon rolls were all pre-made and ready to go, but it took so long it seemed like they made them all after ordering.
Secondly, every single one of the rolls had the icing completely melted all over the rolls. I'm a fan of melty, hot cinnamon rolls, but this was clearly put in a microwave because you can see the butter separated from the rest of the icing, and it caused the sugar to crystalize on top of the roll. Also, the roll itself was hard on the outside and too doughy in the middle. I'm sorry, but paying $5 for a simultaneously under- and over-cooked cinnamon roll that took 20 minutes to just put in a microwave is not worth it...
This was such a waste of money and time, and the taste wasn't good. Maybe the employee that made them just needs to be trained better, but this did not leave a good impression. Based on the other positive reviews it seems like this was a one-off experience, but I probably won't be...
Read moreI am very picky with food. I'm the type who goes for taste and quality. My wife is the same. If the price of the item matches the flavor then we are all for it 🙌 I don't know what's up with the bad reviews but the taste on the cinnamon roll that I received was 👌 Eric was able to assist me with some other flavors that I was not aware of. I had to buy one and eat it there to make sure that my judgment on the reviews were correct. So obviously as you can tell by the box I ended up buying half a dozen lol Eric didn't know that my wife used to have a cookie dough business in downtown Provo, now she part owns a Dirty Dough, so we are pretty used to the baking business lol reviews about the dough being undercooked is foolish when you had all these cookie dough businesses selling raw flour mixed up with whatever they had in there. If the dough is described to be undercooked, it's really not as bad as the comments seems. When you overcook the dough, you might get a rough cinnamon roll, The one that I received from this location was nice and soft and baked well 👍 I'll be back here. If you are focused on the price, please remember that that building itself plus the franchise fees plus the workers that got to get paid it adds up to thousands 💸 keep that in mind. Good place, Good...
Read moreI try hard not to leave anything rude in my "reviews" so this is me, trying. I stopped by here on Saturday after a dinner date for a sweet treat and was totally let down and disappointed. No greeting or even eye contact when we walked in, which is honestly no big deal until she so sweetly and pleasantly greeted the next couple to come in after us, about 10min later. Blahhh. Again, whatever. We got a brownie and the "old skool" cinnamon roll. When you have your cinnamon rolls sitting in a warmer for long periods of time, surely they will begin to harden which is what we got. The cinnamon rolls are lacking extremely in the filling (pretty much bare) with a heaping glob of overly sweet frosting... I realize this is possibly right up someone else's ally, but not mine. The brownie. Odd texture and after taste of flour! Chalky almost texture. So, I do not recommend. We threw the rest of it away. The cinnamon rolls at Maverick gas station are better. On a lighter note, I liked the florescent purple light in the wall. Hence the two stars...
