Food, yes! Drinks, no. I have been making my rounds trying to find the perfect Mexican restaurant in this area for occasional taco Tuesday and margaritas. This is not the spot. Atmosphere: Low energy. Very clean. More for families. Food: Freshly prepared but no wow factor. The equivalent to what I could prepare for myself at home. Drinks: A disappointment. The signature drink lacked flavor and was a waste of money. We would have come out better just enjoying the meal with a glass of water. It was the first time I actually left a drink at a restaurant unfinished. They began to clean near the end of our meal which seemed a bit odd as they weren't about to close. They cleaned very well but the mixture of fabuloso and mexican dishes can be a bit nauseating. My tip is wait until you close unless there is an obvious mess that needs attending to.

Eat here last night for the first time with a friend. Had one of the Arroz Specialties chicken dishes. It was good. My friend had the beef fajitas and said they were "just okay". Our waitress was very friendly but unfortunately not around to much. I had to go to the back to ask for more water. I think it was maybe just because it was close to closing time and she was working on getting things ready to close. Seemed like most of the wait staff was focused more on closing down than servicing customers still eating. Will try again sometime when in this area of town and see if it was just the time of day coming here or not for good customer service.

I’d say it was a good experience overall, staff was very polite and courteous and the food was quite nice. However, the menu card was sticky. Might need to be wiped consistently or just move to QR codes, especially post COVID. Had to use hand sanitizer afterwards. The restaurant could also use some more ventilation and air freshener. The bathroom also could use some upgrade and consistent cleaning. It felt like a gas station bathroom, the better ones, not a restaurant bathroom.

We had one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had In my life at this establishment last night. We arrived at 8:15, 45 minutes prior to closing. We quickly got seated with chips and drinks, but it was clear our waiter was overworked.

From what I could tell, he was the only server working. We got cheese dip quickly as well, and so far we were having a great experience. Until we went to order dinner...

Our waiter seemed surprised/annoyed that we all wanted to order entrees. At this point, it was 8:30. The kitchen still had a full half hour open. We placed our order for our food, and at this point our waiter seemed to start avoiding us. It was difficult to get his attention just to get a refill on drinks.

And THEN our food arrives. Our friends had a subpar enchilada/ chimichanga which were at least edible, but not enjoyable. I ordered the burrito deluxe, which was decent, but lukewarm at best.

But the WORST and the thing I cannot forgive: my husband ordered their New York Strip, rare, with shrimp. A $19 plate. It arrives in what I can only describe as a stew, which is literally spilling off the plate onto the floor as the food runner puts it on the table.

He goes to cut into it, and it looks like someone has scored the steak: it is covered in small cuts, it’s all chopped up, and is completely cooked, well done. We refused to eat it, because it in no way resembled a steak. I wish we had taken photos of it, but we were so disgusted we just wanted it to go away.

When we went to send it back, the waiter didn’t even offer to have something else made or to even take it off the table!!!!! And then, to make matters worse, he refuses to serve my husband a 2nd margarita at 8:59, or my friend who also had subpar food fried ice cream, because apparently the kitchen shuts down at exactly 9 PM at this place, regardless of whether paying customers are still dining or not.

The waiter and service was terrible, the food was horrible, and clearly the way they run their kitchen is complete garbage. DO NOT EAT HERE. We will...

This place has gone through a lot of management changes. Over time, they've had their ups and their downs, and their name has changed a lot. The most recent visits I've had, however, they have seemed to really returned to being on the up - they have some amazing dishes and we're rarely if ever dissapointed with anything that we choose to order from their menu.

They've always been wonderful to us, and the changes they made really did seem to help them shine a lot more. Speaking honestly, in the area - they're my favorite mexican place, because of the variety of dishes they have and the fact that they are just made so well.

Definitely come here and try some of their unique dishes you won't find at other places. While they have both the traditional mexican-food restaraunt dishes as well as some more unique that I've only seen here, I'm not dissapointed when I try something new with them.

Wait staff is always lovely and welcoming, and will see you taken care of. They listen to our requests closely and make sure to follow through on those requests - we've yet to have a dish delivered that wasn't made the way we asked, and that's saying a lot since one of my family members (specific food allergies) has...

First, I am disappointed in myself for trusting a place that smelled bad. This was my first sign not to eat here. The second sign was that there was only one person eating in the restaurant. I ignored this because of the good reviews on this place. I ordered the beef enchiladas with beans and rice for lunch. I noticed that the beef looked uncooked, but I wasn’t worried because I eat medium rare steak occasionally. I ate the entire plate because I was starving. An hour later I began to feel queasy and my stomach started to burn. I thought it was because I devoured my food very quickly. To my surprise, I was feeling early signs of food poisoning. 3 hours passed and I was in my work bathroom like the exorcists, Regurgitating my entire insides. It lasted all night and I still don’t feel right after 24 hours has passed. This was my first time experiencing food poisoning and I eat lots of junk, including raw meat. This restaurant needs to evaluate their...
