I love this place. I have also ordered Door Dash from here many times since my last visit inside the restaurant. The prices are slightly below average for the area, yet the taste and quality is great. This food style has a "mom and pop" feeling to it since it is a very small store front as well. There are an array of rolls to choose from so we know the chef is very creative. I enjoy the deep fried rolls here as well, great unique tastes here. The restaurant is surrounded by other restaurants in a small shopping plaza, so you may have to drive around twice to get a space during a packed weekend or busy night, but not really a big deal since you will be finding a space. Sushi tong is by far my favorite sushi spot in Smyrna. Always clean and good quality. The customer service is always a good experience. I recently placed an order through grub hub for sushi from their restaurant. Grub hub as usual was a disappointment and assigned driver after driver to pick up my meal. Over an hour later—no delivery. I contacted the store and she said she had not only contacted the drivers but also Grub hub customer support. I tried with customer support as well and was told no credit would be given but I can go pick up my meal. The diligent employee at sushi tong continued to dispute for me and got my service fee refunded to me. Thank you! That’s over and beyond what she should have done.

This place is, by far, my favorite sushi place in the area. It's not as fancy as some other places, but the food is the best. I haven't had anything but the sushi, however it's the only place I'll go for it. To start, the spicy tuna roll is perfect. I've always been a fan of spicy tuna but Sushi Tong incorporates the spice into the tuna rather than putting it on top (the tuna is tartar-style in this roll). The salmon and avocado roll is a great one if you're looking for something simple, but the best roll they have is the (aptly named) Fantastic Roll.
