FAD CLASSIC BAKERY — Restaurant in Vinings

I recently visited FAD restaurant and as we were leaving, the owner recommended trying their bakery, which happens to be closer to my house. I decided to check it out and was blown away!

The bakery is beautiful - new, neat, and well-organized. The two staff members greeted me with warm smiles. Although it was my first time, they offered me samples of their bread to help me decide what to try. I didn't take them up on the offer as I was in a rush, but I did end up buying 3 meat pies, a classic Agege bread, and a chocolate bread.

When I got home, my husband and I tried the meat pie and it was amazing - not oily and perfectly baked. I'd give it a solid 10! The bread was soft and delicious, and the chocolate bread was a hit with my kids - they devoured it!

I came here with my fiancée on a whim because I’m a sucker for bakeries. There was a woman who we let go before us and after her order was placed she was given a free item. However, when we purchased our items we were only asked to leave a Google review. This didn’t sit well with myself or my fiancée because nothing was said if you buy a spend a certain amount of money you get a free item. We live close by and have visited twice. So far, we love the sourdough bread- the loaves are huge and just so much better than buying from the grocery store. My son loves the meat pies. We've also tried the cheese and cherry danish, chocolate croissants, pumpkin bread, and we got to sample brownies fresh out of the oven. Everything is delicious and the owners/staff are so sweet...
