This is a new restaurant that just opened up on the Newtown road strip. It's big and clean inside with clearly marked clean tables, with "sanitized" placards on the clean tables. Staff was really friendly and made good recommendations. I ordered the mixed Hawaiian chicken and some shumai. The shrimp shumai were good, lightly cooked and not greasy. A bit lacking in flavor but they were good with the dipping sauce. The chicken that comes in the combo was katsu and BBQ. The katsu was great, tasty and crunchy. The BBQ chicken is thigh meat and forgiving. Some peices were small and some larger, the smaller ones got a bit overcooked but that's ok. I like the chopped, raw cabbage underneath. Honestly it was such a big meat portion I had to move stuff around to get that cabbage! The macaroni salad tasted good. I would have liked it on top my cabbage, but ah, it was so much food I'm gonna do that when I have these leftovers. Food is served in these great boxes, just pop the lid back on and throw it in the fridge when you get home. They have a great selection of poke bowls here, with fish or chicken! They also have a selection of fruit teas and boba that looked nice. There are several combinations of meat to choose from and you can choose your rice (white/fried) and comes with the macaroni salad and veggies. I saw broccoli and cabbage on the menu pic, but I got straight raw chopped cabbage, and I'm a huge fan of that! I'll be back.

We were curious about Hawaiian cuisine, and this place made a fantastic first impression on us as first-timers. I’ve been craving poke for the longest time, and theirs is something I’ll definitely come back for. The staff were incredibly patient and thorough in explaining the menu, and they helped me build my bowl just the way I wanted. I initially planned to have it as an appetizer, but thanks to their generous portions, I barely touched my main meal! Beyond the delicious food and generous serving sizes, it was the genuine kindness of the staff that really made our visit special. They offered a little treat for my child and checked in on us multiple times throughout our meal. Everything was perfect—from the moment we walked in to when we left (with plenty of leftovers because we were all so full!). They truly deserve more than five stars. We’ll absolutely be back!

I passedby this restaurant several times and planned to go oneday. On my way home I was so hungry and as I rode past the restaurant, I thought,"There's no time like tge present." The inside was bight and had "sanitzed" signs on the tables. The gentleman working there was welcoming and helpful. I had the Hawaiian fried rice and spring rolls. The spring rolls were light and crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside as they oftentimes are at restaurants. There was so much fried rice that I couldn't eat even half of it. I had chicken, beef, shrimp and pineapple. You get your money's worth unlike many restaurants today. From the picture on the menu, I thought it was small cubes of meat. I was pleasantly surprised to find big pieces instead. I plan to stop by again and try other menu items.

Wow — what an incredible first-day experience! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warm Hawaiian vibe and genuine aloha spirit. The décor was bright, tropical, and inviting, and the staff greeted me with big smiles and made me feel like family.

The food? Absolutely amazing! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I tried the loco moco, poke bowl, and spam musubi and each one was bursting with authentic island taste. You can tell they put so much love and care into the recipes.

For a brand-new opening, everything ran so smoothly — service was fast, the atmosphere was cheerful, and the portions were generous. This is exactly the kind of spot our city has been missing. I can already tell this is going to be my go-to place for comfort food and good vibes.

Congratulations on a fantastic opening day — you’ve earned a loyal customer for...
